The Summit Function Centre, Mt Lofty

The Summit Function Centre features an outstanding wedding location on Adelaide’s highest peak overlooking Cleland National Park. The restaurant is versatile, and you can trust the Summit’s team to transform it into a modern, romantic or whatever theme you’ve had in mind for your wedding day.

The capacity:  

• 100 guests for inside sit-down
• 120 guests for maximum inside stand-up
• 500 (suggested) for inside + outside venue
• Licensed for 1000 attendees

Ceremony at The Summit Function Centre

At the Summit, ceremonies are organised outdoors, next to the Obelisk, also known as Flinders Column. Ceremony package features: 

• Set up and pack down
• Aisle carpet 
• Signing table

Wedding Packages at The Summit Function Centre

From casual and intimate weddings to modern and opulent celebrations, the Summit caters to all of them. 

Traditional wedding package covers the reception service at the Summit and includes:

• Venue hire from 5 pm onwards
• 3-course seated meal: entrée/soup, two main course alternate drop, salad, your wedding cake as dessert
• 4-hour beverage package, cash bar or bar tab service before the reception
• Menu tasting
• Venue set up
• Reception essentials with complete table setting
• Printed menus
• Gift, cake and memorabilia table
• Sound and PA system

The extended celebration package has all the same inclusions but allows you to extend your wedding day celebration for half an hour or an hour.

Pure Indulgence wedding bundle includes a magical ceremony on the site with a sea view, complete setup and guests’ choice of wedding meal and canapé service and bar before the reception. It features a deluxe beverage package and additional décor items.

The couple who prefer something less formal celebration will enjoy a standing reception package, A little less formal with the following inclusions:

• Roaming canapé service: 3 cold items, 4 hot items
• 4-hour beverage package
• Cash or tab bar before the reception
• Venue use from 5 pm
• Set up, pack down
• Sound and PA system
• Silver cake knife
• Your cake-cutting and plating

There is also an option for BYO alcohol, and the venue charges a corkage fee per bottle and a service fee.

Must-Know about Weddings at the Summit Function Centre

Weddings at Summit Function Centre end at 12 am (midnight). The venue doesn’t charge a rental fee if your wedding guest number exceeds 50 people.
