The ceremony gosh.. I had so many compliments. The staff went above and beyond to make it beautiful for us even having signs out to direct in to the venue. Reception I was nervous as I didn’t see it beforehand, but it was above my expectations. Simple, classic but just beautiful. Staff were all lovely and patient when one guest had too much to drink. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The best wedding we had was for one of our local couples here. They come in every week and we got the chance to help them throw the party of their lives! There was a live band playing & everyone was laughing, dancing and just enjoying the night, our team ensured they all felt like they were getting the extra touch for such a special occasion, and still continued to converse, muck around and make sure everyone was looked after and having a great time through the night.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Usually, your first choice is the right one. Most couples tell me they regret changing their minds... so stick to your guns!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I've loved the table numbers that have pictures of the newly weds at that particular age. Such an awesome trip down memory lane!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
definitely in front of our signature fireplace. It makes for the most incredible first dance photos!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our exposed timber beams are definitely one of our venues most unique features. It's hard to pick when the building is almost 150 years old!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud of our commitment to our community. Our attitude in ensuring our customers are getting the best from our town and from us!
