Quirindi Stables is an outdoor wedding venue just out of Daylesford, in rural Victoria’s locality of Newlyn North. The venue is less than an hour and a half from Melbourne’s Airport and easily accessible via highway.
With its rustic character, Quirindi Stables is a popular wedding venue for countryside weddings. It has ample photo and ceremony opportunities. Authentic details including leafy trees, landscape vistas, windmills, grazing horses and original shedding make this a popular option for both ceremony and reception.
Weddings at Quirindi Stables
Exchange vows at Quirindi Stables's lovely grounds and explore the venue further for your romantic and rustic photo shoot. If the weather allows it, arrange an alfresco ceremony reception with large harvest tables, and string lights and dine under the stairs.
In case of rain, your ceremony can take place on the verandah and the reception moves indoors. The venue is licensed for 80 seated people for the reception or a maximum of 200 guests for a cocktail-style event.
If you prefer marquee weddings, you can rent a marquee from local vendors since there is plenty of space on the grounds. However, if you are planning a micro wedding or elopement, Quirindi Stables venue caters to that.
Quirindi Stables offers a fixed-price, dry-hire wedding venue, providing you with the ultimate flexibility to create your ideal culinary experience. From traditional catering to food trucks and DIY options, create the wedding atmosphere you envision.

Sue and Keiren were magnificent hosts, nothing was ever a hassle and they were always one step ahead of us on the day (which as an Event Manager I was both impressed and comforted by). It was the prefect location for our 'escape to the country' weekend - I only wish we had an excuse to do it all again.We had the most wonderful wedding ceremony and reception at Quirindi Stables in 2017. Sue and Keiren were magnificent hosts, nothing was ever a hassle and they were always one step ahead of us on the day (which as an Event Manager I was both impressed and comforted by). It was the prefect location for our 'escape to the country' weekend - I only wish we had an excuse to do it all again.

Sue was absolutely lovely to work with and provided lots of helpful information to help with the planning of our wedding and was more than happy to answer any questions we had in regards to setting up the venue. We hired the Quirindi team to do the set up/pack down and bar service and honestly could not fault one single thing. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and Sue and Kieran have thought of everything you could possibly need in a venue. They were both so accommodating and friendly – nothing was too hard, and they were willing to help in whatever way they could.
