Ancora is a modern, all-inclusive wedding venue in Tweed Heads, on a premium waterfront location. The venue features Mediterranean-inspired interiors, a mouthwatering menu and lovely grounds, perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

The venue is conveniently located only ten minutes from Gold Coast Airport, and several minutes from spectacular Snapper Rocks and Rainbow Bay beaches. It doesn’t offer accommodation, but there are plenty of excellent options nearby.

Ancora has the following facilities:

• Waterside Garden: Beautiful waterfront ceremony site with the Tweed River in the background and majestic trees providing shade, circular arbour is included in the wedding packages
• The Deck: Charming waterfront deck with hanging chairs and high stools, excellent location for sunset cocktail hour; also suitable for covered wedding ceremony
• Miss Spritz: A Hamptons-style drinks cart for after-ceremony drinks; you can put it in the garden or the deck and serve Aperol Spritz or Gin Ink Spritz
• Indoor Hall: Spacious event room with hardwood timber floor, white-panelled walls and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river; the room has a marble bar and woven basket lighting and a dedicated spot for the indoor ceremony; capacity: 130 seated guests, 150 stand-up
• On-site Photo Locations: Around the property, there are charming spots with props and great backgrounds for your wedding photos, including the majestic wall, the beach, the deck, the entrance and more. 

Wedding Menu at Ancora 

Ancora offers a Mediterranean-inspired wedding menu infused with modern Australian cuisine and traditional NSW dishes. Some of the standard inclusions on this menu are Byron Bay Haloumi, slow-cooked English lamb and Bangalow pork belly with carrot and saffron puree.

As an alternative, you can opt for a Mexican-inspired menu, which offers fish tacos, popcorn chicken, and chargrilled chilli corn.

For bar service at your wedding, you can choose hourly beverage packages with a carefully curated list of drinks and bar tab. The team can help set up your custom bar tab to control spending.

Wedding Packages at Ancora 

Ancora offers all-inclusive wedding packages covering reception and ceremony. There are two packages, Essentials and Deluxe.

At this venue, you can also host elopements, receptions only, or micro weddings. Each package includes venue hire, complete furniture, a wedding coordinator, and professional staffing.
