Description

Let the Pioneer Country crew take on the burden of managing the major components of your wedding. Which means you can focus on the fun stuff. Our venue hire includes using the venue for two days, the day before for rehearsal and styling, and then seven hours of service on the event day (extensions available). Guests can retrieve the cars the day after the wedding at their convenience. Our in-house wedding planner will help plan your wedding and prepare a run order down to the minute on your behalf. Our planner will work with you to design a menu that fits your taste and wallet, ensure that refreshments flow all evening, and either help you DIY style or recommend awesome professionals who will not let you down or break the bank. Comfortable accommodating 220 guests and still have room for a large dance floor and mingling

It's the one stop shop, making for a very easy day

Sarah & Her Team at Pioneer country were great! And the venue is exceptional! The chapel was perfectly charming and we were able to include a cross provided by Sarah to make it more of a Christian Ceremony as well as dress it up the way we wanted to. The Barn was awesome! It had such a rustic charm that perfectly blended a beautiful element of class & was the perfect size for 100 guests. The walls told many stories and perfectly added to the character of the venue! Certainly NOT a sterile or s

Pioneer Country was the perfect wedding venue! The ceremony chapel was perfect - fun and relaxed, and then the amazing bar & barn for dinner and drinks was epic! Sarah was amazing from start to finish, and made our perfect day come true!

Pioneer Country is a spectacular venue.

Sarah is an absolute legend. My husband and I had our wedding at Pioneer Country in September 2023, and Sarah helped us plan our wedding while we lived in Melbourne. Throughout the entire process she was so supportive of our vision, and even allowed us to set up the day before and pack up the day after to ensure our day went as smoothly as possible. Everything from the delicious food, super friendly and helpful staff, to the beautiful views - Pioneer Country is a spectacular venue.

The wedding process was exceptionally smooth.

From the beginning, Sarah and Michelle went above and beyond to accommodate us and our families, making the entire wedding process exceptionally smooth. The flexibility of locations within Pioneer Country was one of the initial draws for us. Being able to exchange vows in the charming chapel on-site and seamlessly transition to our reception in the beautiful 'barn' showcased the thoughtful design of the venue. Throughout the planning process, they were always available to answer questions.

Our wedding day was perfection!!

From the very first moment we arrived at Pioneer Country we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly from our first visit through to the moment we left on the night of our wedding. Sarah and her team were amazing in planning our big day so we had nothing to stress about. Everything you need is in this one location. We had our ceremony in the Chapel, reception in the Barn and photos were taken all around the property. Everything ran so smoothly.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Pioneer Country?

It was a cost effective, do-it-yourself styling wedding held in deepest winter (or at least as deep as the Gold Coast get during winter) last year. The bride was truly creative and made velvet coats for her bridesmaids and big 3D golden stars and moons to hand from our rafters. Her arbour was made from twisted sticks and she played to warm autumnal colours in her florals, dress fabrics and table styling. This couple also proved a previous misconception I harboured. It turns out you can have everyone on the dance floor with a Spotify playlist if you invest the time to curate your own wedding playlist (they used my professional quality EV speakers to bang out their tunes). Garreth and Sam also managed to disprove traditional timelines and they pulled off their Hello May front cover wedding within a couple of months from booking.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

You can "No" "NO" to pressure from family and friends to have XYZ (whatever, read "traditional sit-down menu", "church", "20 bridesmaids", "kids", "no-kids" etc etc) "NO" to overspending on ancillaries eg photobooth, favours The day is about YOUR LOVE, you can express yourselves as you see fit and within your budget. I will be able to support your choices, act as a sounding board and help you deliver your dreams.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The bride and groom had been renovating a tiny home they were about to take on a lap around Australia. They dragged the Tiny Home to Pioneer Country and set it up as a display home so their family and friends could tour it during cocktail hour. It gave their guests an insight into the exciting adventure they were about to embark upon.
