We will work with you to create a truly memorable experience, with the option to mix and match our three distinctive and quirky spaces for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. You can get married in Bristol’s iconic Planetarium, seating up to 81 guests for a completely unique ceremony. Your guests will marvel at the dome, lit up with glittering stars and spectacular images of space. Walk down the aisle and say your vows under an endless star-field, creating a truly romantic wedding experience. The Annexe is a bright and contemporary room on the top floor of We The Curious. Floor to ceiling windows mean the space is flooded with natural light and you’ll have direct access onto our sunlit terrace. Our rooftop terraces provide a wonderful space for drinks, canapes, musicians and the all-important wedding photos. Located on the top floor of We The Curious, the Rosalind Franklin Room is a spectacular, versatile and bright space complete with a private bar area and terraces overlooking Bristol’s Harbourside and the Planetarium. It’s ideal for a classic or modern wedding breakfast with stunning historical views and plenty of space to celebrate with friends and family. Wow, what a day! We HIGHLY recommend choosing We the Curious as your wedding venue. Our day was beyond anything we could have imagined. The day went faultlessly with Sarah and Max making sure we both were in the right place at the right time. The Star show during the wedding was so special and is a highlight of the day... also having a set of Stormtroopers and Darth Vader as an escort didn't hurt which Sarah was able to co-ordinate with the Father of the Bride to ensure it was a total surprise on the day.Our day was beyond anything we could have imagined. The day went faultlessly with Sarah and Max making sure we both were in the right place at the right time. We picked [We The Curious] because of the location, but also because we felt it would be a much more unique experience than other available options. We also thought the prices were very competitive. The service on the day was above and beyond our expectations. We really felt that everything was taken care of. We would absolutely recommend [We The Curious] as a wedding venue, we enjoyed it and all our guests were very impressed.We picked [We The Curious] because of the location, but also because we felt it would be a much more unique experience than other available options. [The service] was fantastic. I was given a space upstairs away from all the public and guests which gave me a bit of time to have some peace before the full hustle and bustle of the wedding day began. The actual ceremony itself was completely perfect. Every detail was covered, from waiting until my bridesmaids were down the aisle before I made my entrance, to the lights and music and directing our guests out into Millennium Square. Overall my ceremony was better than I could imagine it being [The service] was fantastic. This place was so much bigger than we ever expected. I wasn’t expecting us to spend the whole day here but we did. The 3D planetarium was amazing. This is not just for children! We The Curious is fantastic, we are so lucky to have a venue like this in Bristol. The exhibitions are super engaging for adults as well, each time I learn so much. I love how the current exhibition is built around questions Bristolians have about science and life, and how it includes spirituality as well. I am not spiritual myself but it was so interesting to learn what different people thought their souls were all about.This is not just for children! We The Curious is fantastic, we are so lucky to have a venue like this in Bristol. The exhibitions are super engaging for adults as well, each time I learn so much. I love how the current exhibition is built around questions Bristolians have about science and life, and how it includes spirituality as well. This was an amazing day trip. I went on my birthday for a day trip to Bristol and the surrounding area. It was an amazing day. We The Curious is incredibly interactive! Great for children of all ages! Staff were lovely and there was a very good seating area to eat your own picnic! Also, there was a café with an outdoor area for everyone to enjoy! All and all, a very good museum! 😀This was an amazing day trip. I went on my birthday for a day trip to Bristol and the surrounding area. It was an amazing day. We recently had our wedding ceremony in the Annexe of At Bristol. We were looking for a blank canvas somewhere central yet affordable and the Annexe room fit the bill perfectly! It was a long room, ideal for walking the down the aisle. The staff and event team allowed us to decorate and personalise the venue ourselves. With a a bit of flowing fabric and flowers the room can transform from a corporate venue to a beautiful and happy wedding setting. We decorated the venue the night before, we prepared some helium balloons tied to chairs and in the morning they had actually all deflated! But Sarah from the event team sorted this out and replaced the balloons for us- we wouldn't even have noticed if she didn't say - a simple gesture but a sign of great service! If the sun is shining, which luckily for us it was, the use of balconies on both sides is included. The Cathedral background makes for lovely photos, whilst the longer balcony over-looking Millennium Square is ideal for the confetti shot.. We hired the room for just 2 hours but they were happy for guests to arrive earlier and stay a bit later, there was no time pressure at all..
