I would just like to thank you for organising our wedding you really went the extra mile for us it was perfect everyone commented about how nice the food was I also need to mention the polish waiter worked his boots off nothing was too much trouble for him he was rushing around all day and night I would like you to pull him to one side and say how please we was with his service I think he said he was new there and I’m sure he was polish . Well what can I say from day 1 of us looking round the venue Nicola was absolutely amazing and welcoming. When ever we had a question Nicola or Natalie were always there at the end of the phone to help. Fast forward to the wedding day it was absolutely perfect we couldn’t have asked for a better day. All the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. How I imagined the wedding day, Thornbury exceed it by far. I’m so glad we chose to get married at Thornbury. The staff and everyone that helped to make our wedding so special deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Recently got married here and could not fault our experience. Despite everything that was going on in the world the amazing team worked with us to give us an amazing day. We have had so many guests say how amazing the venue (and good) was. Just a massive thank you from the both of us!!

Just wanted to thank you for our wedding on the 1 August which had been rescheduled owing to COVID. It was a massive success mostly because of the quality of your staff at all levels. Nicola and Natalie have been so enthusiastic and engaging even with all the changes recently and they delivered the perfect wedding. They are real assets. All the waiting staff were brilliant also very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The MC was lovely as well. Finally the chef needs a special mention also.. everybody was very impressed with the quality of the food and it was served nice and hot! To sum up I would thoroughly recommend the venue to anyone thinking of an event and thanks once again for making it happen. Best wishes Mike and Sara Knight

Had our wedding here 30th July 2021 after having it postponed a year. During that time we did deal with quite a few people but towards the lead up Nicola and Natalie were amazing. Our day really was perfect from start to finish everything ran smoothly and stress free. The room was decorated beautifully and the food was amazing. To be able to enjoy our night on the dance floor with no restrictions was the best part. For the kind of wedding we wanted this was perfect and I’m glad we chose this as our venue. We had our wedding reception here in January and it was fantastic!! We can't thank the team at Thornbury enough for making our day so special! Thank you so much to Charlotte for taking all of my emails and for making everything possible. The venue was beautiful and we were able to decorate it exactly as we wanted. The staff were amazing on the day, nothing was too much trouble and they were enjoying the day as much as we were. Huge compliments to the chef for the fantastic wedding breakfast! We had a lot of allergy requests and every single one of them was met perfectly! We still have family and friends say to us how fantastic the food was. Thank you so so much Thornbury for helping to make our wedding day completely perfect! I would definitely recommend to other couples looking for a wedding reception.

Our wedding day was better than we could imagine. All the staff at Thornbury made us feel so special & made all our guests feel very welcome. The food was amazing & it was nice to be able to have a choice of menu for our guests
