Description
The Secret Garden is a family run business so you can be assured of one to one attention at all times with myself Rosie and on the big day, myself our team Lucy and the girls.
Once you have decided you would like to hold your big weekend here, we will help you liaise with our recommended marquee company so you can choose exactly what marquee you would like along with your choice of furniture, lighting and decor.
Spend the day before 'the big day' setting up your marquee with all your quirky and beautiful ideas and maybe crack open the Prosecco and have a toast with the bridal party on the eve.
We will then introduce you to our recommended caterer, however, we are more than happy for you to source your own and are very open to ANY ideas you may have.
We are licenced to hold Civil Ceremonies here, either in the stables or on the lawn and we also welcome Celebrant Ceremonies.
We have 3 holiday cottages plus The Hideaway shepherd's hut for use for yourselves and your guests over the course of the weekend (sleeping 15). The Hideaway is normally set up for the Bridal Suite.
The Garden itself is maintained to a high standard, abundant with Roses and other fragant and floral planting. Fairy lights and uplighters ensure a magical feeling in the evening along with the fire pit.
Included in the venue package is full bar provision and we are more than happy to stock anything you like from guest ales to unusual spirits or particular wines - we are very flexible.
Basically, we are a blank canvas for you to put your stamp on!!!!

Hi, I'm Rosie and I love working with couples to ensure their dream day goes to plan. Behind the scenes I make sure that everything runs smoothly from booking date right up to and including the big day. Whilst not actively working on a wedding I love keeping the garden in tip top condition, walking my little rabble of dogs and riding around the countryside on my Arrow, my horse.

Our venue offers the perfect blank canvas for your dream wedding with a flexible dry-hire package. Enjoy exclusive use of the space for three days, allowing plenty of time for setup, your big day, and a relaxed takedown. The package includes two nights of accommodation - one the night before your wedding and the other on your wedding day - ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Included in the price are garden furniture, garden lighting, fairy lights, the bar space, and crockery, ensuring your essential needs are covered.
We offer a flat rate from April to October, with prices ranging depending on whether you choose to host your ceremony with us. You’re also welcome to bring in your own marquee and personal touches to create a truly bespoke celebration. You have the flexibility to choose your own caterers but we'd be happy to help you with the decision by recommending our preferred ones.

The 'vibe' was just perfect for our day. With the onsite accommodation, it turned into a full weekend of celebrations. We got married on the lawn under gazebos, and the backdrop of the beautiful garden, including ducks, was just gorgeous. Rosie and Si could not do enough for us to help things run smoothly.
