My husband and i held our wedding here on 30th Match 2018. It was an amazing day, we had a small gathering of just 17 people, we chose this venue because it caters for smaller wedding parties and equally importantly because we enjoy good food and the reviews for the food at this restaurant speak for themselves! We had high expectations of the meal but to say it surpassed our expectations is an understatement, the menu had been planned by Tessa for us, taking into account all our preferences, she really did us proud and everybody could not speak highly enough of the food on the day, it was the nicest meal i have every eaten, which is more than i could hope for for our wedding breakfast. The wedding was coordinated by Carole who was an absolute treasure and spent so much time communicating with us to make sure every detail was how we wanted it. They really do try and taylor the day to your preferences so each wedding is unique and individual to yourselves. The beautiful building and grounds were ours for sole use for the duration of the wedding, which was from 11am until 4pm, a lunchtime wedding. It is a stunning backdrop for photos and we were lucky enough that the weather was kind and we were able to make use of the grounds for photos.. The ceremony was conducted in the summer room, which is a lovely light and airy room, the lunch was served in the dining room and we were free to use all of the rooms for our guests and photos.. We are so pleased to have chosen this venue for our wedding, the whole day was perfect from start to finish, Tessa and Carole were brilliant and made the whole process stress free, they really could not do enough to help, we were incredibly impressed with their professionalism and genuine desire to make our day special for us. If you are looking for a venue for a small bespoke wedding with fine dining and in a beautiful old building, then look no further, this is the venue for you. We feel exceptionally blessed to have found this venue and to have been able to spend the most important day of our lives here.
