The Lake at Barston is the perfect place to host your Wedding in style. With a beautiful backdrop of our 21 acre lake, The Lake at Barston is a stunning location any time of the year.
Being an independant, family run business, we can go that extra mile and offer personal touches that can only come from a smaller venue.
Our dedicated team will deliver everything you could possibly need to make your day memorable and coordinate all of the details so that you don't have to. From dressing your tables to watching your first dance, our team will be on hand to ensure your day runs seamlessly.

All our needs were met and nothing was too much. The day ran with no bumps meaning we could just enjoy our wedding day knowing us and all our guests were looked after. I could not recommend this venue more for someone’s wedding, it’s truly beautiful. The team on the day were polite, friendly and helpful. We can’t thank everyone enough. My husband and I got married in May 2022, it was the best and most memorable day of our lives and it couldn’t have happened without Amy and the team. All our needs were met and nothing was too much. The day ran with no bumps meaning we could just enjoy our wedding day knowing us and all our guests were looked after. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the staff work so hard to ensure the day/evening runs smoothly. The grounds are beautiful for photos, the room itself is a brilliant size with a large dance floor and bar. The resident DJ is very accommodating playing any genre of music you require. The food is simply amazing, no small portions and very tasty. We had good communication leading up to the wedding and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best wedding day here and would 100% recommend to anybody.The Lake at Barston was the perfect venue for our wedding reception and I cannot speak highly enough of the place. Amy was always on hand to answer questions, calm me down when I panicked that I’d forgotten something and helped me to pick colours for my tables and chairs! The food was amazing, we opted for the carvery as a wedding breakfast and the had the hog roast for the evening! The team were calm, cool and collected the entire day and everything ran like clockwork. My husband planned a surprise for me and Amy helped him sort it so it’s not all about the bride.. honestly was the best most memorable day ever and that’s all down to the Lake!! Oh and the food was top notch! We opted for a three course carvery - who doesn't love a carvery?! It was so reasonably priced and our guests were all left well fed and satisfied. She put both myself and my now husband at ease and took away a lot of stress and fears we had and even gave us some good ideas aswell as advising us on certain things which we found extremely helpful. The Lake at Barston is a stunning place and the room on our day was dressed exactly how we imagined. All the staff were very professional and dressed smartly. Unfortunately on our wedding day Amy was really poorly with covid so was unable to run our day as planned which terrified me, however she passed the reigns to Laura (another member of staff who we had met) and assured us she would be great, which she was, she made our day just perfect. The food was outstanding as usual, both the daytime wedding breakfast and our evening buffet. Everyone commented how lovely the food and the venue was and the grounds for the photos. All in all I cannot thank Amy and her team enough for giving us THE most perfect Wedding day. We couldn't of had a better day!!
