The Kitchen Garden

We had a beautiful evening at Kitchen Garden Cafe. The staff are amazing, they were so friendly and welcoming. Naomi and the team were so helpful and well organised they made us feel in really safe hands while we were planning. Our guests loved the rustic decor and personalised touches that we were able to add, it felt different and special. The food choices were great, nothing fussy and no one left hungry. Overall the atmosphere was so cosy, informal and intimate it was the perfect way for us to celebrate.

We had our wedding party here in August 2021 and it was a fantastic evening! I cannot fault the venue or the staff, they were exceptional! The day was so seemless and perfect. We couldn't be more grateful for the work you all put in. I was speechless when we arrived. The kitchen garden cafe looked absolutely beautiful for our relaxed BBQ wedding reception in the afternoon and it was transformed in the evening into a dance floor for our guests to party all night long. Lots of candles and fairy lights which made this rustic venue look magical. It was such a joyful occasion and the staff at Kitchen Garden were a major part of this. I will always look forward to visiting you. Thanks for making our wedding day one of the best memories, for us and for all those who shared it with us.

We got married sept 21 and it was amazing. We had an Alice in wonderland theme so venue was perfect. Quirky and private. Naomi and everyone were so helpful through every step. They decorated it beautifully, I couldn’t of done it better myself. We had so many compliments about the kitchen garden, the guests loved it. Just want to say a big thank you to all the team

We really can't praise Kitchen Garden Cafe enough for the amazing wedding reception they put on for us. Naomi and Kayleigh were endlessly helpful and super fast at responding to all of our many queries on the lead-up. We even had a lot of last-minute changes, right up to the day before the reception, and they did everything they could to accomodate those and to make things easy and stress-free for us. The day went absolutely perfectly, and we felt so looked after by Kayleigh and the team on the night. Our guests can't stop talking about how lovely the staff were, how welcome they all felt and how great the food was. Kayleigh made us feel comfortable that everything was under control and let us just relax and enjoy our night knowing everything was taken care of. We wanted a laid back event and that's exactly what they delivered. The team decorated the venue even better than we imagined and we were super happy with everything. We couldn't have chosen a better venue and we had such a great time we just wish we could come back and do it all again!

If you're looking for a chilled, relaxed venue with great home cooked food, a rustic cottage garden style setting and a friendly, professional team who can't do enough to help you then look no further than the Kitchen Garden Café. Due to the Pandemic restrictions, we had to split our dates and get legally married at the Registry Office a few weeks prior. Several times we had to swap and change dates and almost every detail of the reception just a couple of weeks beforehand and Naomi the Wedding Coordinator was beyond helpful, accommodating and understanding given to the circumstances. Needless to say it all went ahead without a hitch and we had a wonderfully intimate Humanist Ceremony for 50 guests followed by a BBQ reception which received so many compliments - so much food!! The serving team were excellent and so helpful to all of our guests and they did such an amazing job decorating the room for us. A balloon shop and florist are on the same street as the Café which is so very useful for additional touches. The Café also regularly hosts live music events and so it was easy to setup both our own music and our musician for the evening. The Café really is a gem and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. Wedding planning is stressful at the best of times, nevermind during a pandemic with rules changing every 5 minutes. In hindsight we need not have worried as Naomi and the team turned a very difficult time into a memorable evening and we couldn't recommend the Café enough.

We had an incredible night at Fletchers & KGC for wedding and couldn’t of wished for anything more from our special day. All of our guests were impressed with the venue and all of the staff working were super friendly and helpful. If we could have our wedding reception again we wouldn’t change a thing!  Thank you for helping to bring our vision come to life.

From start to beyond Naomi and her team were amazing! Having to postpone due to COVID lockdown and last minute restricted numbers we ended up planning 3 times but Naomi took all the stress out of it. Everything we asked for she delivered and was amazing on the day. We started off in Fletchers bar for welcome drinks and then moved into Kitchen Garden for a traditional fish and chips meal and later afternoon tea. Food was amazing. There are also great photo opportunities with their twinkly lights and rustic feel. We had the most wonderful special day. Thank you Naomi and KG team ❤️

Thank you very much Naomi and team - we had a great time at the Kitchen Garden Cafe for our wedding last weekend. We couldn't ask for a nicer venue (especially love the plants) as well as care and attention to detail from staff.
