The vibe of a Green House wedding never really changes – glamorous yet relaxed and intimate, easy on the eye and the environment. But no two are ever the same, because they are designed by and for you.
Our team is absolutely committed to using their know-how to help you put together the ceremony of your dreams, and the party of your life. Upon booking and leading up to the event, Sophie and Sophie May were very responsive on our numerous queries, and constantly checked in with us to see if we needed anything, which gratefully put us at ease. All the staff on the day were fantastic and very attentive, going above to make the day special for us. We got married in May 2021 when the government had a lot of restrictions still in place regarding covid. Sophie and the team worked extremely hard to try and make sure the day could be as enjoyable as possible. This included allowing us to host the evening reception with our 30 guests outside. This allowed everyone a chance to be socially distant but with a chance to play a few outdoor games and feel less awkward re keeping our distance. The team worked really hard to get back in the swing of things especially with this being one of their first weddings after lockdown. Wonderful Wedding Venue and Excellent Team!The Green House Hotel is an absolutely wonderful venue, I have been photographing weddings at the venue now for about 8 years. Sophie and her team go above and beyond for their couples, the day always runs so smoothly and the atmosphere has always been (the numerous times I've been) there fantastic! The venue is perfect if you wish to get ready there, it has plenty of places for getting ready photos and a great lawn at the front perfect for photos of people/ wedding cars arriving to the venue. The ceremony room is great for photos, as it is so bright and has great decoration. After the ceremony the venue is perfectly located for photos on the lawn and also a quick walk down to the beach....which makes for stunning photos any time of the year :) There is also a lovely balcony and stairs at the front of the hotel for photos. The downstairs function room is perfect for evening celebrations, it has a private intimate feeling to it, and access straight outside to a lovely outside seating area with little fairy lights. I can also vouch for the food!! I've been lucky to have tasted many different dishes, all have been incredible and the presentation is wonderful! A great venue, many locals to the area are unaware of this venue as it's nicely tucked away but also right next to town and the beach. I've also had the pleasure of photographing couples that actually live in a different part of England but have wished to get married next to the sea.......and they have been made up with the location and the high quality service of the hotel. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We have a beautiful wooden tree in our ceremony room, on one occasion our bride and groom chose to hang images of their guests, on their own wedding days, from the trees branches. Not only did it look beautiful, it was also a lovely way to include their loved ones.
