The Earl of Doncaster is a four star hotel uniquely decorated with an art deco finish. Retaining many of our late 1930’s characteristics, strikingly beautiful and timeless glamour, The Earl is the perfect setting for your Wedding day.
At The Earl we pride ourselves on helping you plan your dream wedding. We believe your wedding day should be exactly as you have always imagined. Whether it is intimate or grand, a ceremony or a reception, or both, we will set the scene for your special day.
Retaining many of our late 1930’s characteristics, strikingly beautiful and timeless glamour, The Earl is the perfect setting for your special day. From fairytale weddings to romantic receptions, our luxurious spaces, service and attention to detail ensure nothing but the very best for every couple.
Licensed to hold civil marriages and civil partnership ceremonies in two elegant settings, allowing your day to effortlessly unfold, whilst we take care of the organisation.
If you plan to hold your ceremony at a local church or registry office we would, of course, be delighted to host your reception.
Whatever arrangements you have in mind, our flexible spaces can be adapted to meet your every need. Whether you’re looking for an elegant intimate wedding or an extravagant celebration, your dedicated Wedding Coordinator will make sure no detail is overlooked.

Nothing was to much trouble and on many occasion catered for the family. From start to finish the day couldn’t of gone better all the ostaff were amazing and made sure we had a fantastic night the bar staff were amazing. I don’t normally leave reviews but our special day was completed and I’m so glad we had it at the Earl and again would love to say THANKYOU TO THE STAFF AND ABSOLUTE CREDIT TO THE EARL THEY ALL NEED PAYING TOP WHACK :)We had our wedding yesterday and It couldn’t of gone smoother all the fine details were perfectly presented and Leanne the master of ceremonies was phenomenal and absolute credit to the Earl and I hope they know. Thankyou so much.Having looked at quite a few other venues in the doncaster area to host our evening wedding reception we chose the Earl due to loving the amazing art deco ballroom, it is a beautiful room of which we just fell in love with, however the whole of the hotel is beautiful in art deco style. From the start the hotel/staff listened to what we wanted for our wedding reception and between us a plan for our evening was made. From start to finish all the staff we had dealings with were fantastic and are a credit to the hotel with a mention to Ann-maria and the afternoon restaurant staff who looked after our small party of 18 wedding guests for an afternoon meal.The table service we received was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Leanne the wedding coordinator for the day..WOW what a truly amazing member of staff, this girl looked after everything on the day and night for us and really made our wedding day so special.
