Converted from a collection of 17th century cottages, the hotel is built around a beautiful central courtyard with a fountain, where fragrant roses and honeysuckle scramble over the walls. Sheltered as it is from the wind, the courtyard provides the ideal space for your guests to enjoy a post ceremony or pre party drink, whilst your photographer seeks out the best hidden spots to take those perfect pictures. Inside, there is a well stocked bar as well as an intimate lounge area with comfy armchairs. Your more senior guests may wish to relax here for a while, slightly away from the noise and hubbub of the celebrations, but still very much part of the party. Meanwhile the youngest guests may need to let off some steam in our lovely gardens!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Spreadsheets and tick lists are a life saver!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple put the lyrics to their favourite song on the chairs for the ceremony. Once they were declared married we put the song on at full volume and EVERYONE in the room- guests, staff and registrars- belted out Islands in The Steam. It was a really magical moment.
