This was a lovely place to sit and eat, right beside the canal. The inside is bright and airy upstairs, more seating downstairs and you can sit outside with a view of the canal. It was a good menu with different seasonal specials and ways to check the menu for any allergens. The food we had was wonderful and tasty. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Wow! That's all I can say. Beautiful setting and first class service, not to mention the amazing food at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back. Varied menu but we had the roast. Meat was cooked superbly and if you had the beef they asked how you wanted it cooked. Amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.Wow! That's all I can say. Exquisite venue. Very busy with Christmas diners when we went but the kitchen were very accommodating and were happy for us to order from the standard menu. Food was very nice and the service staff kept us fueled while we waited. Exquisite venue. Went to the Botanist last night for a meal with some friends. It was a lovely atmosphere and the live singer was amazing. Customer service was great and I really enjoyed the food. It was my first time at the Botanist, but I will definitely be returning. The location on the canal is so pretty. Perfect place for a relaxing meal away from the Friday night chaos of Broad Street.Went to the Botanist last night for a meal with some friends. Had a great time at the canal house. Greeted by some very friendly staff who were very attentive throughout the visit. The food was served up extremely fast after ordering, impressively so. For atmosphere, the restaurant building itself is stunning, live music was on in the lower level but also hooked up to the speakers so you could hear it clearly in the background while eating. The outside area looked great for the summer, and I will definitely be returning.Had a great time at the canal house. Greeted by some very friendly staff who were very attentive throughout the visit.
