Featuring tranquil walled gardens, an award-winning chef and space for up to 100 guests, you need look no further than The Barn at Old Down Estate for your perfect wedding venue. Available 7 days a week and exclusively yours from midday to midnight, this magical venue offers plenty of flexibility for you to create your dream day. You can say “I do” in front of 70 guests in the barn before making the most of the stunning gardens and enjoying a glass of bubbly or two as you mingle with your nearest and dearest. Alternatively, you can marry at the local church before being greeted with welcome drinks back at the barn. When it comes to your wedding breakfast, you’re in great hands with The Barn at Old Down. All ingredients used in the kitchens are locally sourced and, where possible, organic or raised on the estate. The experienced catering team will create a menu to delight and impress your guests, for a memorable start to your evening. The Barn at Old Down will also provide plenty of drinks options, keeping everything flowing as you begin your evening reception. The Barn will be totally transformed to fit your theme, so all you need to worry about is your dance moves!

A dream of a venue! Beautiful gardens, loads of space, and the orangery is just stunning. It has the grandeur without being overwhelming – perfect for couples who want a bit of elegance and loads of variety for backdrops. We had our wedding here at The Barn and genuinely had the best ever day. Zoey and Joey spent the best part of 2 years answering our emails and being so accommodating and kind. The food was fantastic on the day and all of our guests were so impressed. We also stayed at Foxholes barn for 2 nights and it was a wonderful place to get ready on our wedding morning. We wouldn’t have changed a thing!We had our wedding here at The Barn and genuinely had the best ever day. Held our daughters 20th Wedding Anniversary in the Barn. It's a great venue just right for 70 or so guests. Food was really good and the staff very friendly and helpful. would like to thank Joey and everyone at old down for their help with our wedding. The day was amazing everything went perfectly and ran smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend old down for an amazing venue. the barn area looks great and private access to the walled garden areas made sure there was plenty of space and entertainment for the kids.would like to thank Joey and everyone at old down for their help with our wedding. We had our wedding at The Barn on the 24th Aug and I have to say, Lucy and the team at Old Down were just amazing. She made everything really easy and was very accommodating. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. On the day, everything went exactly as we wanted it to and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of our guests said how great the venue, gardens, food and staff were. We really couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thank you to Lucy, Louise and all the staff at Old DownWe had our wedding at The Barn on the 24th Aug and I have to say, Lucy and the team at Old Down were just amazing. We had our wedding here on Friday in the walled garden, it changed a lot from our original plans (thanks covid) but the team were so helpful in finding us options and making our much smaller and more intimate wedding even more perfect than I could have imagined! All our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the day, the food was amazing, and they even brought us out a snake to have some extra special and unique wedding photos+ We also have the Barn booked for our reception party.We had our wedding here on Friday in the walled garden, it changed a lot from our original plans (thanks covid) but the team were so helpful in finding us options and making our much smaller and more intimate wedding even more perfect than I could have imagined! We got married on the 14 of May at this beautiful venue with a gorgeous ceremony in the walled garden and wedding breakfast/dancing in the barn. All our family and friends raved about the location, particularly in relation to getting to see the animals and even buy some plants! The barn is beautiful and the walled garden even more lovely, particularly on the sunny day we had. Our wedding coordinator Joey was wonderful and made our day exactly what we wanted, we couldn't have asked for more.We got married on the 14 of May at this beautiful venue with a gorgeous ceremony in the walled garden and wedding breakfast/dancing in the barn. We got married in The Barn at the end of May and it was an absolutely amazing day. Old Down were incredibly helpful and accommodating of all our needs and requests. They worked with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day, and worked with us to create a bespoke Afternoon Tea menu and even agreed to do Colombian food during our cocktail hour to celebrate my wife's culture. For us, The Barn was the perfect venue for what we wanted, and Joey was exceptional to work with.We got married in The Barn at the end of May and it was an absolutely amazing day. Old Down were incredibly helpful and accommodating of all our needs and requests. They worked with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day, and worked with us to create a bespoke Afternoon Tea menu and even agreed to do Colombian food during our cocktail hour to celebrate my wife's culture.
