Stourton Woods

My band Stone Meadow had the pleasure of playing at Stourton Woods over the weekend and had a great experience. Set up was straight forward and all our requirements were met in order to put on a great show. Would recommend to both musicians and prospective wedding clients.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding at Stourton Woods. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the intricate details and the breathtaking ceremony spot. As a photographer, I felt incredibly fortunate to be there and to have the opportunity to capture such beautiful moments in such an extraordinary setting. I wholeheartedly recommend Stourton Woods to any couples seeking a natural, romantic venue for their special day.

I was recently the celebrant for the most wonderful wedding at Stourton Woods. The team there were so friendly, calm and organised, it was such a pleasure! They were clearly very accommodating of the bride and groom's wishes; they really aim to make sure everyone has a wonderful day. As a Wedding caterer we go to many venues, but Stourton Estates is absolutely stunning. They actually have hundreds of deer roaming the estate which is just magical. As you drive into the wedding area and the safari tent, where the dining takes place, it’s setting in the woods is astonishingly breathtaking (there’s a massive lake there too with space to camp). The safari tent is really well equipped and spacious and has those rustic vibes that everyone is looking for! Clean toilets, excellent bar, lots of seating, great staff, really well lit, and well it ticks all boxes! I can’t wait to go back there for my next wedding!

We deliver wedding cakes to a number of venues but we got such a warm, welcome from Julie. What a lovely venue in the woods. It was just what the bride wanted. Looking forward to delivering more cakes to this lovely place

I think every guest commented what a magical day it was, it's a place so full of natural beauty, space, you really feel like you can breathe and soak it all up. The beautiful deer in the background. The fantastic safari tent you can personalise however you want it. I couldn't recommend Stourton Estates enough as a wedding venue, it truly is a magical place.

We catered at Stourton woods for Matt and Meishas wedding. This wasn’t our first time at the venue. We love coming back here. Everything is always perfect. Julie is very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Venue is set in beautiful surroundings and it’s definitely worth a visit if you are looking for perfect venue.

As a family, we fell in love with Stourton initially when visiting the sunflower field. The space is so beautiful, peaceful & surrounded by nature. We love how the safari tent is nestled into the natural background, sitting under the lovely trees. The magical view when you’re stood looking out towards the lake & green space is picturesque. There were many reasons for choosing Stourton, not just for its beauty. We loved the freedom around making our day so bespoke & tailored to us. It was important to us to bring the nature from outside, in & this was achieved better than we hoped. Stourton is a blank canvas for you to make decisions around all aspects of planning. Everyone tells you how quickly the day goes & do you know what, they’re right! So we loved that we had the option of camping over night, extending the celebrations with our loved ones for longer. We chose to hire bell tents & they were an ace, comfy place to retire to after toasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Finally, a big shout out to Julie! She is the most lovely lady you could wish for to help with your special day. She was always on hand to advise, help recommend/research suppliers - nothing is too much trouble. The day ran so smoothly thanks to her calm & friendly professionalism. She really is a star!🌟 We truly had the most magical, fun, memorable day & felt sad when it was over!
