Set in 23 acres of grounds, Stourport Manor is a contemporary country house hotel that provides the perfect setting for your special day. At our four-star venue, we never forget that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life.
We have a variety of rooms licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies, and our superb outdoor patio area provides the perfect place for reception drinks or an evening barbeque. Throughout the process of planning and preparation we have always been pleased with the Communication we received, and any issues were quick to be resolved. Our wedding day was May 9th and the day ran absolutely perfectly, Katie and the events team were fabulous from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and helpful and tried their hardest to make sure everyone had a good time. They were amazing loading with other supplies like the garden games company and the bouncy castle people. They handled everything so we didn’t have to worry! The rooms were spacious and had all your essentials, the bed was comfy and the water was lovely and warm (and had good pressure) in the shower too. My husband used the gym and leisure facilities and found these to be lovely too (he certainly welcomed the distraction from wedding day nerves!). Breakfast was really nice and lots of choice of different cereals and pastries if you’re not a fan of the traditional full English. It was a beautiful stay and an amazing experience. - MMr and Mrs24/06/2023Beautiful VenueBeautiful VenueOur wedding day itself was lovely, we had our perfect day and the experience on the day was amazing, but it was not without it's faults. So be prepared if you book the hotel, whilst the venue is lovely, you need to be very on top the planning. The positive things are the venue is beautiful, the hotel itself is good once you're there, the food was delicious, the facilities are great, there's a red carpet, great space for the meal and dancing, private bar and toilets and the bandstand. If you want to have your guests stay at the hotel, be prepared for a lot of problems. We had to make several phone calls over the months leading up to the wedding as the reception team kept telling guests there was no room left on our room allocation even though there was plenty of space. Guests were also constantly told wrong information about meals included with their stay. The hotel changed hands in between us booking and our wedding day. This in itself wasn't a problem, but no one told us for a few months. Anything that we needed from the wedding coordinator had to be constantly chased from us. On the day there was a marquee with metal chairs there that no one warned us about. We sat down for the wedding breakfast on schedule, yet 1 hour and 20 minutes into the meal, no one had been served their main course. All the tables were served at completely different times and it made our evening reception start late, with evening guests hovering by the door when speeches were happening. The staff didn't have the table plan (despite us having provided this to the venue) and kept rudely asking guests if they remembered what they ordered 6 months prior to the wedding. The hotel itself was very short staffed. They also hadn't been told what they needed to do, even though we printed several sets of instructions and emailed them over, for example our arrival drinks should have been outside with garden games and this had not been done, so we had to tell them when we got there. Overall we had a fantastic day and Stourport Manor was still our perfect venue. Hopefully these issues will be ironed out with the new owners soon. They offered a comprehensive all inclusive wedding package, with many extras thrown in, at a very reasonable price. It is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The wedding co-ordinator Amie was brilliant and helped us to plan all the little details that helped to make the day so special. Jason their DJ did a brilliant job with the wedding music in the evening. Collette made our venue look beautiful, with all the seat covers, bows, table runners, swags, centre pieces, table plan, welcome sign, and name cards. The food was absolutely out of this world and there was so much to choose from, catering for every dietary requirement. Our wedding suite was lovely and very clean and comfortable. Despite last minute changes that were out of everyone's control, everything went perfectly and the staff went out of their way to make sure this was the case. We dealt primarily with Amy and she was fantastic - always answering our questions no matter how silly they might have been or how many times we asked the same question. On the day it was Ed who looked after us and he was amazing and friendly and put us at ease and had a fantastic sense of humour too. He made sure we stayed on track and that we always had either food or drink as you're rushing about so much sometimes you forget All! All of our guests had a fantastic time and said the food was lovely too. The room was set up for us and looked beautiful, we just provided the bits and pieces we wanted but they do have packages that have things included so you don't need to do this. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get married who wants an all in one experience to check this lovely hotel out. We had approx 75 guests and there was more than enough space and everyone who stayed really enjoyed the whole experience and their breakfast the next day! I had the honeymoon suite the night before and it has everything you need for yourself and bridesmaids. If you're having make up/hair there is a mirror, chair and table for all the stuff to go on in the main bedroom and a separate seating area where your ladies can get ready (there was at one point myself, 5 bridesmaids, 2 parents, photographer and makeup lady in the rooms and it was fine) Overall, a wonderful day for us and all our guests. I can honestly say we had a fantastic day in a beautiful hotel and stunning grounds. The staff were so attentive and nothing too much trouble for any of them. A big shout out to our wedding coordinator Amie, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amie took the strain out of the big day for me, especially with rearranging the date due to lockdown and the ever-changing restrictions that followed - thank you! Sie created the beautiful ceremony and reception areas for us and it all looked lovely. Both Amie and Sie were on hand and at the other end of the phone for any questions. The food was spectacular - I don’t think we had a single guest who didn’t comment on how delicious it was. It was piping hot and of exceptional quality. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a separate lounge area and a huge bathroom. Plenty of car parking was available for our wedding guests and others that were staying at the hotel. In a nutshell, we found this venue to be of brilliant value and we received OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can whole-heartedly recommend getting married at Stourport Manor Hotel. You will spend so much time planning your big day and it will just fly by within an instant!! Take a moment to step back and breathe on the day as a couple and take in what is going on around you
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One personal touch was from a wedding where there was a flower girl. The bride wore a beautiful dress at the time when the groom proposed to her. Then for the big day she had it taken apart and made into the flower girl dress. It was an adorable dress and I love the sentimentality of it!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have so many gorgeous photo opportunities in the Manor House and around the grounds however our sparkly band stand is very unique. It is also very popular for first dances!
