Here at Mable & Fern we have the honour of running all of the weddings for Stanway House and Fountain. Our packages include daytime food & drinks, bar, furniture, crockery, cutlery and glasses along with a designated wedding planner.
We offer packages ranging from dry hire of the venue all the way through to our platinum package including; a 3 course meal, evening food and free bar service!

For us, the building did all the talking; its raw, earthy aesthetic and rich history created a phenomenal atmosphere. It has such a warm soul for a historic building. They were always helpful and responsive, and nothing ever felt like too much to ask, which made the planning process run smoothly. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and provide the most stunning backdrop for photos — it truly feels like a fairytale setting.My husband and I chose Stanway Barn for our wedding on 1st June 2024, and it was the best decision we made. The front lawns, with small lake are the location of an ancient barn, which is rented out for wedding parties. What a great venue, caterers, bar and band etc were laid on and a perfect backdrop for the photo shoot, superb gardens and the worlds tallest gravity fountain. A very memorable event made even better by a visit by his lordship popping in to personally congratulate the couple.We visited Stanway House in Sept 2011 for our nieces wedding. The grounds were particularly welcoming on this very hot day (lots of shade) and the fountain impressive. Lots of children enjoying playing in the spray. We enjoyed seeing the watermill at work...sitting out by the pond adjacent to the tithe barn. A visit to treasure!The house is lovely, very calm with some good examples of classic furniture and William Morris wallpaper. The grounds were particularly welcoming on this very hot day (lots of shade) and the fountain impressive. Lots of children enjoying playing in the spray. Do you have ample parking?
Yes, we have lots of parking for your guests.
Can we choose our own caterer?
You certainly can. Our chefs are fantastic and can cook all dishes but you can bring in your own caterer if you wish.
Can we bring in our own drinks for the daytime?
Yes you can and we'll supply the glassware, ice and staff for you.
Do you have a bar?
Yes a complimentary fully stocked bar with drinks for sale is included as part of your booking.
Can we dry hire the barn?
Yes we offer our Stanway Hire package which includes a 3 day hire along with our event manager. With this package you have free rein over all aspects of your special day.
