It was a very relaxing lead up to the wedding & on the day no stress at all down to the staff listening to our requests & going above & beyond to make the day super special. Thank you Katie, Rebecca & Josie ! The venue itself is amazing enabling us to spend precious time with loved ones before the wedding. Obviously a very talented chef, but slightly let down by the waiting staff who really don't sell the food or the wines! They don't clear dishes too efficiently either and are in need of some training to match what the kitchen are sending out to guests. Having said that, everyone is very friendly and the chef came out to ask if all was ok.. If you're booking a wedding, Katie is the perfect planner. She's friendly, efficient and good to her word. It really IS an amazing venue and my daughter is getting married here in 2021.Absolutely amazing venue and the food is quite wonderful! A truly outstanding and picturesque setting for such an occasion. While admittedly the great weather helped enhance the day of the wedding, I can honestly say you will have to search far and wide to beat the setting of the old chapel ruins where the nuptials took place. The grounds of the Park are very well maintained, neatly mowed lawns, Apple orchids, the river views and great walks for your dog as Slebech is also dog friendly if you so wish to take along your best friend. The rooms are modern, spacious and most importantly very very clean. Finally I've left the best until last...... the staff, hard-working, well presented and willing to attend to your every need with a smile and a chat, what a truly amazing bunch of people they were and are.
