Description
River Mills Ballroom was established in 2018. Our venue is an industrial mill building with lots of original character, oak beams and exposed brickwork. We have interwoven the aforementioned features with some modern touches, creating a truly beautiful space.
Every package benefits from our specialised wedding service, with our team available for support and advice from the moment you enquire. This service provides continuity from start to finish, as we guarantee that you will be dealing with the same member of staff throughout your journey with us.
- Fully serviced weddings, tables and chairs included in all packages.
- Licensed for Civil Ceremonies and also have a licensed bar within our facility.
- Our venue can cater for weddings between 15 to 200 guests and we have four beautifully appointed rooms that are exclusively yours for the duration of your wedding.
- With exclusive use of the venue, you can use any of our stunning studios throughout your hire. Often Bridal party preparations take place on site, with options to add drinks & food for your party.
- Our Ballroom can seat up to 200 for a wedding breakfast, has a bar in the same room and has a stage for your DJ or band
Pretty much anything goes in terms of what you can have at our venue.
We have had bouncy castles, an indoor garden themed wedding, where hay bails and astro turf were brought into the ballroom.
We offer in house catering, as well as working with a variety of Yorkshire’s finest caterers and are happy to recommend other suppliers to help you plan your special day.

The food was fantastic and the bar was fairly priced for a wedding. My initial judgement from the outside didn't do justice to the simple, yet cosy interior.
