RHS Garden Wisley

The best day I could have asked for at the glasshouse at Wisley. The wedding team had been amazing from start to finish. I had total trust in them, no email or tiny question went unanswered. The venue itself, absolutely breathtaking!

As a wedding photographer based in Guildford, I get to shoot at some pretty extraordinary wedding venues (check them out here), but when Suzi and Patrick first got in touch with me and told me about their plans for getting married at RHS Garden Wisley, a beautiful outdoor wedding venue, I just knew it was going to be one of the most amazing weddings of the year, and of course it was!

I absolutely loved photographing this wedding at RHS Wisley Garden in Surrey! It was so special because I used to work at Wisley as a garden photographer (DREAM job!) and it’s also where Matt and I got engaged. The Glasshouse in the grounds of Wisley garden is the most stunning venue for a wedding reception - it’s very light which is ideal for photos, the tables were surrounded by exotic plants and there’s a huge waterfall! It was the perfect day - beautifully sunny weather and amazing food.

The RHS gardens at Wisley provided the most wonderful setting for our daughter's wedding reception in the Glasshouse. Surrounded by beautiful flowers on a summer's afternoon must be the very definition of romantic and the gardens did not disappoint. The Event Management team headed up by the wonderful Chrissie swung into action an hour before the gardens closed to the public and worked with our caterers to transform the exotic Glasshouse into a breathtaking space for entertaining our guests.

We are writing to express our appreciation of all the staff at RHS Wisley who helped to make our event a great success. In particular, we wanted to highlight the central role played by RHS Wisley’s Events Manager, Chrissie Milton, both on the night and in the run-up to it. We all drew immediate comfort from Chrissie’s unruffled approach, clear grasp of our wedding concept and “can-do” attitude – qualities which were essential in helping to plan an Indian wedding for 250 guests!

We had a humanist ceremony and reception at RHS Wisley in a marquee, followed by dinner and party at the beautiful Glasshouse. Despite some super dodgy weather on previous days, we had an amazing (and dry!) day, and all our guests commented on the beauty of the venue - which also lent itself to some fantastic wedding photos. Throughout the whole planning process, Chrissie was very helpful and accommodating.

Wisley made the most exquisite setting for our relaxed and beautiful wedding. The chef provided amazing food of the highest quality - our guests commented what a relief it was not to eat the usual boring chicken! The whole experience, being surrounded by nature and gorgeous plants, made the day elegant and perfect.

Thank you and all your staff for making our wedding day perfect. Everything ran like 'clockwork' and nothing was too much trouble for your staff. The food was out of this world...we only wish we would do it all again!

We had our wedding reception at RHS wisley gardens last Saturday. The whole day was absolutely perfect. We had drinks opposite the Loggia and our wedding breakfast in a marquee in wilsons wood. Chrissie the events manager is such a pleasure to work with - extremely professional. We had so many lovely comments from guests about the wonderful venue. Everything went like clockwork. You couldn't ask for a better location for your wedding photos! Highly recommend

What can I really say about our wedding at Wisley, such a gorgeous place was bound to provide the perfect day, and it certainly did! All the staff were excellent, from first enquiries up to & throughout the day, liaising with all the suppliers to ensure everything went to plan. Our guests were bowled over by the beauty of the gardens, many will be returning. I can't wait to go back and reminisce about our perfect wedding!
