Specialising in exclusive big days with a difference, the family-run farm is dedicated to delivering unique and personal weddings that span across several days so that no parts of the proceedings are rushed or overlooked!
The barn has been lovingly restored to provide a versatile space that is unique, elegant and quirky. It's exposed stone walls and timber beams work in harmony with its rural surroundings while modern updates make it a warm and comfortable space for big celebrations. With huge glass expanse and french doors leading out to stunning country views, there's no finer setting for brides and grooms.
Perhaps one of the most unique elements are our glamping pods, which provide one of a kind experience for couples and their guests. The state of the art handmade cabins, come complete with heating, electricity and home comforts, and there's even a special 'honeymoon pod' for the newlyweds.
We also have four brand new fairytale cottages that are available for you to hire!

The main barn is so light and airy, completely stunning even with no decoration/styling! Samantha and Olivia were amazing with me at every meeting, sending notes after each one so I could check through and confirm. The day before and the day of the wedding, I was able to be so calm because I trusted them implicitly that everything would just work, and I wasn't wrong. On the day, Samantha checked in on me throughout, giving updates to keep the timings prompt and to make sure everyone got to where they needed to be! I couldn't recommend them enough, it was genuinely the perfect day and that was largely down to Northside. Absolute pro's! We had so many people tell us they loved the venue, the food, the service at the bar, everything. Even my make up artist and hair stylist said they loved the dressing room! Just perfection. She also helped us with the timings on the day e.g getting to know our ‘walking down the isle song’/ helping us know where to be/ what to do on the day. All of the staff kept checking in with us to make sure we were okay and going above and beyond to make our weekend so special. The venue was perfect as we had access to it all weekend which allowed us to celebrate for longer with our family and friends - we always had access to the kitchen and all of the amenities were clean. There were lovely fields surrounding the venue, which made it extra fun for our dog. The food was lovely and the portion sizes were perfect , no one was going hungry at any point of the day! The drinks options were also great and reasonably priced. Overall I think it was the location and the staff who made the wedding so perfect. It was so nice having the venue for several days and and we got loads of guests commenting on the venue. The kids loved it as they had space to run around and play. Completely wheelchair accessible which was a must for us. The team at Northside Farm knew what they were doing and went beyond to make our day special, they even stocked non-alcoholic drinks for our guests that couldn’t drinks. Had our wedding here 29days ago and everything was wonderful. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had a weekend celebration and could have our family and friends stay on the farm with us. This gave us the opportunity to soak up the whole weekend and savour every moment. The scenery is stunning and the barn has a uniquely charm. The staff went out of their way and more! There was nothing too big or too small and they gave us the freedom to have the wedding of our dreams. I wish I could do it all again Northside Farm is the best wedding venue in the North East. The whole feel of the place was totally us and the fact you get the whole place to yourself for the 3 days was brilliant and meant we could make it a celebration weekend instead of what felt like a very short time option at other venues! Having on-site different accommodation options was good for our guests to have a choice! The food options were good and scope for making it personal. The girls and team couldn’t be more helpful and fantastic from the viewings, booking, organising and then the day! Everything went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about anything! The barn itself is just stunning and such a special place for the ceremony as well as the wedding breakfast and evening reception. There were lots of nice spaces and outdoor areas for us and our guests to spend time together. The dressing room was a nice space to get ready in the morning. The venue allowed us to personalise our wedding doing all our own decor and having a whole weekend to spend onsite with all of our friends and family. Our delicious Northumberland Pulled Sweet Chilli Beef with Horseradish Cream, Mini Yorkshire Puddings and Mini Cheeseburgers (too many to choose from!)

Chocolate! Of course!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our round gin gang is the most unique feature at our venue which is brand new for 2019, it offers an outdoor feel with the large windows but not as weather dependant!
