For couples looking for a wedding day like no other and holidays that create lasting memories. Brinkburn Northumberland has unique wedding offers for both religious and civil ceremonies in our 19th century restored Barn, a 12th century Brinkburn Priory Church, and the historic Manor house. Set in a secluded wooded ravine on the banks of the river Coquet, Brinkburn Northumberland’s six luxury holiday cottages are the perfect home away from home and the ideal escape for couples as well as larger groups. Fulfilled customers combined with weddings which span three days set us apart from our competitors. The Barn is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships. For religious ceremonies, nestled in enchanting woodland is Brinkburn Priory for the most unforgettable space to gather together for a church ceremony. Humanist celebrations can take place in the un-restored Manor House or your choice of any location in our 52 acres of English countryside. A drinks reception of champagne and canapes can be followed in our Paddock Tipi or courtyard barn arches, followed by a Wedding Breakfast inside our Tipi or Barn to celebrate. With the perfect blend of traditional sophistication and modern quirkiness, your reception will be an unforgettable experience. We can accommodate up to 52 guests for your daytime celebration and up to 70 guests for your evening do. As the night draws to a close, you and your nearest and dearest can retire to the on-site accommodation suitable for up to 22 guests across the Estate. The main accommodation - The Dairy & The Annex - is just a stones throw from the Venue where the Bridal suite is situated and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The Gardener's Cottages are at the entrance of the Estate, and are perfect for small families or groups of four, which can accommodate 16 guests in total.
Where to start...to pick one would just be impossible!! The best weddings are always the ones where the venue is full of colour, the guests are full of laughter (& food) and the happy couple are full of smiles, and here at Brinkburn we would expect nothing less!
Questions!! It is so important to ask questions throughout the planning process, so not only the day is 100% how you would like, but you also have a full understanding. At Brinkburn our wedding coordinators are always on hand for all questions, no matter how big or small.
This has to be table numbers... I love it when a couple have table numbers/names that are personal to them. For example, Alice & Sam had their table names as different West End musicals the pair had featured in which was a fantastic, thoughtful idea!
Unforgettable, exclusive, atmospheric, personal, sensational.
Do I have to pick just one?! The Priory is so grand it is hard not to be photogenic with that backdrop, the stables gardens are bustling with colour and the tipi has the enchanted fairy lights making all of your photos look magical!
A wedding planner never tells.....
A fellow fish lover I would have to go with the crispy king prawn with wasabi mayonnaise.
This is an obvious choice...it has to be a steal of the wedding cake!
At Brinkburn we are lucky to have our 12th Century Priory Church and Manor House quite literally on our doorstep which is such a unique feature for a wedding venue to have!
