Newhall Estate centres around Newhall House, a stunning Scottish country home that is rich in history and character. Exclusively yours during your stay with us and exclusively hosting a limited number of weddings per year, Newhall specialises in bespoke celebrations. Offering both weekend and mid-week weddings, with two nights stay included as standard, the opportunities for your perfect wedding stay are endless.

With four ceremony locations on-site (two indoor, two outdoor), and the choice of two evening reception locations to choose from (one which has a fire pit!), we really mean when we say no Newhall wedding is the same! From smaller, intimate wedding celebrations, to larger wedding parties, Newhall can welcome up to 120-150 guests across the wedding season.

With two nights stay included as standard, start your wedding day right, on site. Within the Estate we have accommodation for up to 40 of your nearest and dearest, to keep those celebrations going through your entire stay. The Estate is a licensed venue for both civil and religious ceremonies. Discover our timeless Sunroom, flooded in natural daylight; or if beautiful rustic charm is more your style, our recently renovated Granary is the perfect setting. Alternatively, if you imagine your ceremony surrounded by nature, you can choose our tranquil Lawn or unforgettable Walled Garden. Complete your wedding day with home grown, artisan floral arrangements. Each flower is grown on the Estate by our family and provided through our involvement with the Flowers from the Farm initiative.

The exclusive use of Newhall Estate is inclusive of full use of the mansion house and estate grounds, including accommodation for up to 29 guests. You have your choice of event spaces such as The Sunroom, Coach House, The Granary, and Walled Garden for up to 150 guests. In addition, we also include (but not limited to); Onsite event managers, registry signing table, bar furniture, fairy decoration lights, Chiavari chairs throughout the day, PA system, sword for cake cutting and easels. Should you require more accommodation we have 3 cosy cottages on site taking the number to 40 residential guests.

Memories forever!Memories forever!
Yvonne and the team at Newhall Estate were just amazing with my husband and I through our whole journey. We visited the venue and felt welcome, and fell inlove with the place. Yvonne was patient and answered all our questions. The house and the grounds are just gorgeous. When we booked in our date, we were always able to be in touch, and even got walk arounds a few times before to show my inlaws who live away the venue. Nothing was too much to ask, and they even assisted us with special laundry due to skin conditions of our guests. The day went so smooth thanks to Yvonnes help and the team. If anything was an issue i didnt know and just enjoyed the best day of my life. On the sunday we also had a BBQ with guests and there was staff onsite helping clean up and support anything we needed. Cannot thank them enough or reccommend them enough! Was a home from home (if we lived in a beautiful mansion!). Sad its all over! We can’t recommend Newhall Estate highly enough as a wedding venue. Jak & Yvonne (& the wider Newhall staff) went over and above to ensure we had the perfect wedding weekend from the first email we sent to the moment we checked out after our 3 day event. The communication in the 18 months in between was second to none. We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds which provided the most idyllic photo opportunities. The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. They had every eventuality covered so we knew if anything went wrong, we had absolute confidence that they’d know how to fix it. We had the wedding of our dreams at Newhall Estate and we can’t thank the dream team and the beautiful grounds enough. We can’t recommend Newhall Estate highly enough as a wedding venue. As two Americans looking to break from the norm and have a small, dream wedding, Newhall was the perfect place for us. Not only was booking the entire estate for a weekend way more affordable than other similar locations, but the estate itself took our breath away with its wooded paths, walled garden, brooks and meadows galore. That being said, the best part about booking with Newhall was the staff that made each and every single step easy and supported us the entire time. We didn’t hire a planner, but the staff had so many resources for us to help us plan our big celebration from across the Atlantic. Once we were on the grounds, they welcomed us with warmth and were so generous that my wife and I can hardly believe such a kind group of people were making our dreams come true. The weekend itself went better than either of us could have ever dreamed, and would we have to do it over we would pick Newhall in a heartbeat. Best venue for a wedding! Best venue for a wedding!
The best venue to have your wedding. You have the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere. From being with all your friends and family on the Friday to relax before the big day on the Saturday where everything ran smoothly and the staff at Newhall were fantastic! I never felt rushed on the wedding day and it was tailored to how myself and my husband wanted it and not how the venue wanted it. Also being able to choose from 3 different places to have your ceremony is perfect! Would highly recommend Newhall to anyone to have their wedding here!The best venue to have your wedding. You have the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere. What a day! What a venue!What a day! What a venue!
Coming all the way from the Netherlands, we were looking for the ultimate Scottish wedding experience to share with our guests. We honestly couldn't have found a more magical wedding location for our special day! We had goosebumps with Newhall Estate from the very beginning. The whole team were just incredible! Everyone was so extremely helpful and kind, they got us so very excited about the possibilities for our special day. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and prepared, and act with such enthusiasm and professionalism, accommodating our every wish. Our wedding day in May was surprisingly sunny, and so the ceremony was one of the first to be held outside in the stunning walled gardens on the Estate. Nothing could have been more perfect! Pulling out the garden games no less, a test for the 'true Scotsman,' jumbo Jenga, cigars, whiskey, and all that excitement and more... What an incredible day, what an incredible weekend! Overall, we would 100% recommend this venue to anyone excited to get married in Scotland. Newhall Estate has such a unique charm and it’s comforting, and cosy atmosphere created a beautiful vibe and location to host a wedding. Newhall is absolutely superb. From the first contact the team are absolutely incredible and nothing is too much hassle. They are so supportive all the way through the planning and then incredible on the day and days surrounding. The venue itself is stunning and so versatile, there’s multiple options for ceremony, drinks, dancing and the spaces are amazing. All of the accommodation rooms are so nice and comfortable and our guests love it. We had the best weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough! Newhall is absolutely superb. From the first contact the team are absolutely incredible and nothing is too much hassle. They are so supportive all the way through the planning and then incredible on the day and days surrounding. Everything about Newhall is amazing. The building and grounds are stunning, a truly wonderful backdrop for our wedding! The staff were so friendly, so patient and could not have done enough for us. They really made our experience at Newhall perfect and made us feel at ease and well looked after! It gave us the exact relaxed and fun vibes we were after. We had the most amazing weekend at Newhall Estate! The venue is just stunning. Our day ran so smoothly, the events team were incredibly nice and attentive and the housekeeping team are also excellent. The whole weekend couldn’t have gone better thanks to them. All our friends and family (many of them coming from Spain) commented on how beautiful the place is, saying it looks like a castle or a fairytale. Couldn’t recommend it enough! We had the most amazing weekend at Newhall Estate! The venue is just stunning. Our day ran so smoothly, the events team were incredibly nice and attentive and the housekeeping team are also excellent. The whole weekend couldn’t have gone better thanks to them. All our friends and family (many of them coming from Spain) commented on how beautiful the place is, saying it looks like a castle or a fairytale. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
