Newhall Estate is a beautiful country house wedding venue rich in history, character and charm. Hosting only a limited number of weddings each year, the Estate is exclusively yours, allowing couples to create a truly personal celebration.
With two nights’ exclusive use included, your wedding becomes a relaxed countryside stay with your favourite people — giving you time to celebrate, unwind and enjoy the Estate together.
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Choose from four unique ceremony locations across the Estate:
- The Sunroom – elegant and filled with natural light
- The Granary – rustic charm in a beautifully restored space
- The Lawn – a tranquil outdoor ceremony setting
- The Walled Garden – romantic and surrounded by nature
For your evening celebration, select from two reception spaces, including an atmospheric outdoor setting with a fire pit and Nordic tipi.
Newhall welcomes weddings from 2 guests up to 150, with no minimum guest number requirement, making it perfect for both intimate celebrations and larger gatherings.
Accommodation
Your stay includes two nights’ accommodation for up to 29 guests within the Estate. Additional rooms are available, allowing accommodation for up to 40 guests in total for an additional fee.
This creates a relaxed house-party atmosphere where your closest friends and family can stay on site and celebrate with you throughout your wedding stay.

The exclusive use of Newhall Estate is inclusive of full use of the mansion house and estate grounds, including accommodation for up to 29 guests. You have your choice of event spaces such as The Sunroom, Coach House, The Granary, and Walled Garden for up to 150 guests. In addition, we also include (but not limited to); Onsite event managers, registry signing table, bar furniture, fairy decoration lights, Chiavari chairs throughout the day, PA system, sword for cake cutting and easels. Should you require more accommodation we have 3 cosy cottages on site taking the number to 40 residential guests.

Everything was absolutely perfect and we are so glad we chose it as our wedding venue. The day itself was incredible and all of our guests commented on how stunning the venue is. A huge thank you to Yvonne and the entire Newhall team. From our very first visit, to showing parents around after we booked, countless emails with far too many questions and even having to rearrange our final meeting multiple times, Yvonne was an absolute dream to work with. Nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, knowing everything was so completely in hand meant we could truly relax and take a step back from worrying about every detail. Thank you for making the whole process feel so easy and for helping to create such a special, unforgettable day.We had the most amazing wedding day at Newhall! Everything was absolutely perfect and we are so glad we chose it as our wedding venue. The day itself was incredible and all of our guests commented on how stunning the venue is. We visited the venue and felt welcome, and fell inlove with the place. Yvonne was patient and answered all our questions. The house and the grounds are just gorgeous. When we booked in our date, we were always able to be in touch, and even got walk arounds a few times before to show my inlaws who live away the venue. Nothing was too much to ask, and they even assisted us with special laundry due to skin conditions of our guests. The day went so smooth thanks to Yvonnes help and the team. If anything was an issue i didnt know and just enjoyed the best day of my life. On the sunday we also had a BBQ with guests and there was staff onsite helping clean up and support anything we needed. Cannot thank them enough or reccommend them enough! Was a home from home (if we lived in a beautiful mansion!). Sad its all over! We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds which provided the most idyllic photo opportunities. The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. That being said, the best part about booking with Newhall was the staff that made each and every single step easy and supported us the entire time. We didn’t hire a planner, but the staff had so many resources for us to help us plan our big celebration from across the Atlantic. Once we were on the grounds, they welcomed us with warmth and were so generous that my wife and I can hardly believe such a kind group of people were making our dreams come true. The weekend itself went better than either of us could have ever dreamed, and would we have to do it over we would pick Newhall in a heartbeat. You have the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere. From being with all your friends and family on the Friday to relax before the big day on the Saturday where everything ran smoothly and the staff at Newhall were fantastic! I never felt rushed on the wedding day and it was tailored to how myself and my husband wanted it and not how the venue wanted it. Also being able to choose from 3 different places to have your ceremony is perfect! Would highly recommend Newhall to anyone to have their wedding here!The best venue to have your wedding. What a venue!Coming all the way from the Netherlands, we were looking for the ultimate Scottish wedding experience to share with our guests. We honestly couldn't have found a more magical wedding location for our special day! We had goosebumps with Newhall Estate from the very beginning. The whole team were just incredible! Everyone was so extremely helpful and kind, they got us so very excited about the possibilities for our special day. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and prepared, and act with such enthusiasm and professionalism, accommodating our every wish. Our wedding day in May was surprisingly sunny, and so the ceremony was one of the first to be held outside in the stunning walled gardens on the Estate. Nothing could have been more perfect! Pulling out the garden games no less, a test for the 'true Scotsman,' jumbo Jenga, cigars, whiskey, and all that excitement and more... What an incredible day, what an incredible weekend! Overall, we would 100% recommend this venue to anyone excited to get married in Scotland. Newhall Estate has such a unique charm and it’s comforting, and cosy atmosphere created a beautiful vibe and location to host a wedding. They are so supportive all the way through the planning and then incredible on the day and days surrounding. The venue itself is stunning and so versatile, there’s multiple options for ceremony, drinks, dancing and the spaces are amazing. All of the accommodation rooms are so nice and comfortable and our guests love it. We had the best weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough! Newhall is absolutely superb.
