Definitely in my top 10 wedding venues

Having filmed at many of the top wedding venues in the country, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this venue when filming Mr and Mrs Mills get married here last week. Such beautiful gardens and location! The views are excellent. Definitely in my top 10 wedding venues to film now. Especially being that its only 10 minutes from home!

Such a beautiful venue

We attended our best friends wedding at Millearne. Such a beautiful venue with views that are second to none. The grounds are manicured to perfection and make for the most amazing and unique back drop for the special day. Would recommend this to anyone seeking a venue that is romantic, scenic and a little different to the rest. Thanks to the team at Millearne for the best day and party we’ve been fortunate enough to attend!

Our own! Melissa and Ollie were married at Millearne in 2017 and they are now in the development and planning stage of building their own house within one of the walled gardens. It is lovely to think that history repeats itself and that the next generation will continue to live on the estate. Melissa will be the point of contact for you at Millearne, and she understands completely how all consuming organising a wedding can be. It was Melissa and Ollie’s wedding in 2017 that gave the family the idea of opening their magnificent gardens to other couples who want a stunning exclusive Perthshire wedding venue on their special day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

The first question people ask you when you tell them you are engaged, is what the date is going to be. Now unless you are getting married at home, it’s unlikely that you will know the exact date until after you find the venue. Try not to get too fixed on any specific dates as your dream venue may already be booked, to avoid disappointment – but you can decide on a season or an approximate date that you may want to get married to give you some flexibility. Most couples are engaged for about 12-14 months before the wedding, so feel free to set a year in which you want to get married and then a season. Check with other close engaged couple, family members to make sure you aren’t planning dates too close together.
