We are a long standing hotel on the beautiful North Coast, with over 30 years experience in providing a bespoke, yet personal touch in helping couples plan their wedding.
We have a range of rooms catering to weddings of all sizes with space to have your ceremony, reception and guests all under one roof with accommodation options too.
The hotel has areas for your photographs, but if you want something a little different we are within easy driving distance to some of the most picturesque beaches and gardens on the North Coast.

Our packages include everything you need for your wedding reception. We include table decor, table dressings, centerpieces, and room decor in every package. While most couples go with one of these packages, we will happily build something bespoke for you.

Myself and my husband didn't want a "big wedding", we wanted a day that captured what is most important to us, our own little family and the families we come from - The Lodge Hotel could not have done more to make this happen for us! From the moment we arrived, there was such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Everything was set up to perfection, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. The room we had our meal in was dressed so beautifully and accommodated our smaller numbers perfectly, our table plan and room set up allowed us to interact with all of our guests throughout the meal and gave it such an intimate feel. We moved into a bigger room, which was equally beautiful, after our meal to continue our evening reception The waiting staff during our meal were so kind and complimentary to us also, telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding reception as it had such a relaxed, family feel to it - thank you ladies! Every single guest at our wedding commented on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were, nothing was a bother to them and they were so helpful any time we needed anything. They even kept all our cards/gifts from guests safe for us until the next morning when we checked out, this was so helpful! We'd like to give a special mention to Tracy, our wedding co-ordinator, who was such a pleasure to deal with. She was full of helpful ideas to help us choose what was going to make us feel most at ease throughout our day, having patience with us when struggled with decisions and never failing to answer any questions we had. Want to say a big thank you to Carol. So kind and caring, she made us feel so welcome from the start and was always there when we needed her. I was blown away when we seen the room set up for us, we could not praise the staff enough. They were so lovely, the food was outstanding. I wish we could do it all again. Nothing was too much and he knows his stuff. A lovely man. The rooms, food and staff were amazing and the wee garden was perfect for photos. Everything was just magical from start to finish. We stay at the hotel all the time and love it but our wedding was extra special. Keith and the team made it perfect. If you're planning a wedding, 100% recommend the Lodge. Thank you Keith. Remember to take time to just breathe and enjoy the experience. This can be a stressful time but we are happy to help at any stage of the process. This is your day, remember to take the time to enjoy it.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We recently set up a personalised Gin Bar for one of our couples. They then named their table plan after some of their favourite gins.

Our garden is beautiful for family photos.

No well-known celebrities but we try to make every couple feel like they are the stars of the show on their wedding day.

Crispy BBQ Beef Bon Bon or Chilli Ginger Truffle for a sweet treat

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our secret sauce? The team! We’re part fairy godmother, part wedding ninja — always on hand with a smile, a safety pin, or a glass of bubbly. You won’t find service like this anywhere else! 💫💍✨
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our team - we pride ourselves on friendly service. Our guests feel like they are coming home when they arrive at the hotel.
