I can't thank the white horse hotel enough for an amazing day and couldn't fault anything. The food was absolutely top class and everyone enjoyed it. Kimberly was absolutely fabulous from the start of the planning to the end.. if anybody is thinking of booking the white horse for there wedding we would highly recommend it.. All the staff were so friendly and very helpful we owe a huge thanks to Kimberley and all the staff of the white horse hotel our day was fabulous from start to finish we would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or any other occasion a beautiful hotel with lovely staff We had our wedding at the white horse hotel on 10th may from we booked our wedding Kimberly has been so helpful she has kept us right from the start and has received my numerous phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner our ceremony room was lovely and the function room was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. Perfect from start to finish. Nothing was ever a bother, they constantly were making sure everything was ok or if we need anything. It all started months ago with detailed planning using the most excellent Wedding Organiser, KIMBERLY. She looked after every detail, music, room arrangements, table layouts, food requirements etc, etc. She was brilliant, what was even more pleasing was the terrific service continued for all aspects of both the evening before the event and all through our Wedding Day. The staff in the bars, dining room, breakfast room and the wee pub were exemplary in their warmth and desire to please both me and my husband but all our guests. People from USA, London, Scotland and local residents. Everybody commented on how well the event was organised, The food and menu selection was wonderful, served hot and in a well synchronised manner, TOP Mark's. So I CANNOT RECOMMEND TOO HIGHLY THE WHITE HORSE HOTEL for a wedding venue. Congratulations Selina for putting together a top-class team, in wonderful facilities, who all seemed dedicated to ensuring our day was a success. EVEN after we returned to the hotel two days later, various members of staff came along asking DID YOU ENJOY THE DAY? We first met Kimberly at the white horse nearly 3 years ago and she helped us decide that this was the perfect venue for us the details and the time she took to go through the little details meant a lot to us and we remembered her name as she told us to call her biscuits! So she wasn't only kind an helpful she brought the fun element into it as well and made us feel comfortable to put our day in her hands. On the day it couldn't have went any smoother everything was on time the food was beautiful and the attention to details that Kimberly and the staff put in was absolutely 100% I would definitely recommend anyone looking for the perfect day u will be well looked after by Kimberly and the staff at the White Horse you won't regret it!! From start to finish the staff, led by the fantastic Kimberly, were attentive, well organised and completely dedicated to making this the best event it could be! The venue was beautiful, the food delicious (Kimberly even proactively offered alternatives for the youngest guests and checked in regularly to make sure everything was ok and if there was anything else that could be done) and you really got the sense that they cared about making your experience there as good as it could be! I cannot recommend them enough! I did not stay on site, but those who did also had nothing but good things to say, and it was less than £10 to get there from Derry centre by taxi. In the days leading up to our big day we met Kimberley who warmly greeted us like family and made us feel welcome. She is an asset to the hotel and I can't say enough how much she made us feel confident that we were in good hands. She even accommodated a lot of last minute requests literally sometimes with moments advance notice. The food was perfect (in portion size and taste). The function room decoration was perfect. The whole staff team were friendly, polite, and super accommodating (pardon the pun). Our room was perfect, the bed was very comfortable and we had a peaceful sleep after a busy day. Drinks were reasonable and a wide selection was available. The grounds are idyllic and location of the hotel while not central to Derry, is easily accessible and as taxi cost to the town centre is less than £10, it's still worth staying here. I would recommend highly for any occasion after seeing how they catered for us. I can't thank you all enough." On the whole build up to the wedding Kimberly and staff in the hotel were amazing. They were all very supportive and accommodating to ensure our day was perfect. They were very attentive to not only the bride and groom but to all our guests! We honestly can’t thank them enough for everything they have done. I couldn’t fault our day in anyway. The food was beautiful and the set up was amazing. In all honesty my husband said “I would get married here all over again because Kimberly has been fantastic”!
