Don't panic. Your Wedding Co-ordinator is there to help every step of the way and has plenty of experience so use their expertise and lean on them as much as you need to.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Personalised mini Green & Blacks chocolate bars - adorable and delicious!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
I think the question is really where ISN'T a great photo spot at our venue? The gardens have so many hidden nooks for those intimate shots that make the day so special, as well as the gorgeous lake in the background - perfect for group shots.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
While we haven't had any in the modern day, we are featured in the Thomas Hardy novel 'Tess of the D'Ubervilles' as he actually grew up here. We also had a visit from King George III!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our chef's Salmon Blini is divine, although the mini Yorkshire puddings with creamed horseradish and seared sirloin is also beautiful.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Donut walls and sweet carts are a must, to give you that last minute sugar kick at the end of the day.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We are able to provide our wedding couples with exclusive access to five grand staterooms, the terrace to the rear of the house and the picturesque lake. In the heart of Dorset, there isn't a more intimate and serene location. We offer our services 364 days of the year, and can't wait to welcome couples into our little slice of peace.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
There is very little at Kingston Maurward that we can't do, and so we take great pride in being able to adapt to the needs of our couples. Regardless of the set up and structure of their day, all of our weddings fit the couple perfectly and run without hitch.
