Do you have minimum expected guests?
Our wedding packages require a minimum of 60 day guests, but don't worry if you are planning a smaller wedding there will still be something we can do.
What ceremonies can you host?
We welcome religious, civil or humanist ceremonies. Please note it is the responsibility of the client to book their own officiant.
Is External Catering allowed?
We do not allow external catering for the meal, canapés or evening buffet as we have our own team of talented Chefs who will be delighted to provide catering for your big day and will be happy to discuss any specific requirements you may have.
We also do not offer a corkage service.
What if my guests have dietary requirements?
If you have any guests who have special dietary requirements, please inform your coordinator prior to the big day and we will be only too happy to cater for these free of any additional charges. To ensure we are able to make the adjustments, please give us as much notice as possible and remember to indicate these guests on your table plan with your final details.
Can we have confetti?
Confetti may be thrown outside, but it must be biodegradable so please ensure that you notify your guests in advance.
Can we use Candles?
It is possible to include LED candles as part of your wedding decor, however candles and naked flames are not permitted in our ballroom.
Do you set up our Wedding Cake?
Holiday Inn Aberdeen West cannot take responsibility for setting up your wedding cake, so we ask that this is delivered on the morning of the wedding and is set up by the supplier or a member of the wedding party. Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to store your cake prior to the wedding.
Can we have Fireworks?
Unfortunately, due to our location we are unable to allow these items at any of our events.
Is there a discount for our guests staying?
Yes we are pleased t o offer discounted rates for your guests attending the wedding, you will be issued a unique booking code prior to your big day which you can share with your guests to book their rooms.
Will our wedding be subject to annual price increases?
All prices quoted are subject to annual review to be effective from 1st January each year and the company reserves the right to alter the prices in line with the annual review.
