Highcliffe Castle

We had our wedding last week at Highcliffe Castle and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. Not only is it beautiful with a stunning castle looking over the beach with views off to the Isle of Wight, the weddings team are fantastic! Well organised, cannot do enough for you and leave you feeling reassured and as though you can relax and just enjoy your special day. We cannot recommend highly enough and choosing Highcliffe Castle to host our wedding was the best decision we made - our guests couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It's also owned and run by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council and it's nice to know that the money paid is going back to the council.

Highcliffe Castle was my dream since I was a little girl, the castle and it's team did not disappoint! From booking to the day, Aaliyah and her team were on hand to answer any questions. They ensured the day went so smoothly. We had our dream day at the castle, the weather was beautiful, the set up was beautiful and everyone had a good time! The Wintergarden is the most bright and charming setting to marry in! We were provided with a day we will always cherish!

I really cannot express how grateful I am to the Highcliffe wedding team for everything they did for us both in the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. We instantly loved Highcliffe Castle and as soon as we booked our wedding with them, we knew we were in the safest hands. The team could not have done any more for us - it was always just as important to them to make our day special as it was for us. On the day especially the whole team were just phenomenal. They made the whole thing seem seamless and such a slick operation, meaning we did not have to worry about a single thing. It's such a rare and beautiful place, right next to the beach and stunning coastal views too. Highcliffe Castle is truly the most magical Wedding Venue. The building and grounds are stunning and the layout allows for a varied, easy flowing day, full of magical, intimate spaces. The staff are beyond kind and helpful, and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you could want on your day. They follow your requests to the finest detail and ensure everything runs smoothly. They work with recommended suppliers, as well as new suppliers chosen by us, with ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better team, venue and day.

We had THE most wonderful wedding and received many positive comments from our guests about Highcliffe Castle. We were incredibly impressed - the exceptional service from the beginning, attention to detail, professionalism, organisation and how accommodating they were in every respect. We could not fault them! Thank you to Aaliyah and the team for making our day the best it could possible be.

The castle has a special place in our hearts as we live local and visit on a weekly basis it's our go too place with friends , family and visitors to our home, so every visit just transports us back to our special day , filled with happiness where hubby was so nervous he messed up the vows, where the dog arrived wearing his bow tie, two guests wore the same outfit , where we were played out on the piano by the tune of ' Don't stop me now' - (we certainly had a good time) and those visiting the tea rooms and the grounds clapped when we appeared outside into the beautiful Sunshine in preparation for our first toast of bubbly of the day . A place where the staff made it run like clockwork and made us feel as though we were the only ones ever to be married there. A truly wonderful day 💞

Our wedding got moved due to lock down twice. The staff were incredible! Easy communication, stress free. On the day the staff made our day seamless, if there were any issues we were unaware. Great venue, great staff, would definitely recommend!
