Best day ever!! Best day ever!!
I had my wedding day at Goldsborough Hall on August 10th 2025 and I honestly can not thank and praise the wedding team and venue enough. The day was faultless, they organised everything and I had absolutely NOTHING to worry about the morning of my wedding. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue but also the service and attention to detail all provided by the team. The food was delicious and everyone who had a room at the hall (included with the price of the wedding!!!) commented how clean and gorgeous they were too. Building up to the day the wedding team couldn’t do enough to make us feel ready and excited. We had a tour when we booked, had another tour for our parents and a wedding prep meeting a month before where they outlined everything that would happen on the day. I had some nerves the night before and they were even there then to calm and reassure me the day would be amazing, and it was. The team are experienced, caring and the loveliest people who made our wedding day perfect. I can not recommend this stunning venue enough. The weddings team are simply the nicest and most helpful people I’ve come across. I picked this venue not just because of how grand it is and it’s beautiful grounds, I was drawn to the warmness of the weddings team, they go above and beyond, responding to all of my needs with absolutely no issues. Alison, saw to all of my needs and when I saw her face on the day, my nerves instantly calmed! The venue is just so beautiful, rooms are large and extremely grand and luxurious. The food was extremely tasty and presented beautifully. The breakfast the following morning was gorgeous, having a choice from a menu made it more special. All guests commented on what a beautiful day it was the venue and food was exceptional, as was the wedding team who brought it all together. From the first time we looked around this beautiful venue, to the big day itself, they made the entire process of planning a wedding as smooth as possible, and provided invaluable advice! It felt personal throughout, with advice by email and in person whenever we asked for it, and support for bespoke details that we wanted to fit into our day. Throughout the year planning, we felt so welcome at Goldsborough, including the lovely tasting menu to which we brought our parents. The day itself ran seamlessly, with Mel and Alison adjusting any timings as needed, and it was clear we were in very capable hands throughout! Thank you so much for the most beautiful, joyful day, we could not have had a better wedding.The team at Goldsborough Hall were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From our very first visit, the wedding team at Goldsborough Hall were exceptional. Their expertise and guidance made the planning process seamless and stress-free. A special thank you to Amanda, whose genuine care and attention to detail ensured all our needs were met with a personal touch. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork thanks to the attentive and discreet support of the Goldsborough staff. The food was simply outstanding - every dish was exquisitely presented and bursting with flavour. We received countless compliments from our guests! Amazing!Amazing!
The whole experience was just brilliant. Alison and Amanda worked so hard to make sure our wedding ran smoothly as well as every member of staff being so happy and friendly on the day. The food was delicious, the setting beautiful and the vibes immaculate. I highly recommend Goldsborough Hall as a wedding venue! The whole experience was just brilliant. My husband and I hosted our wedding at Goldborough Hall in October 2024. The day was perfect, and the staff ran it like clockwork. The hall is so beautiful both inside and out that it wouldn't have mattered what the weather was like on the day. We had the wedding breakfast in the dining room which was the perfect size for our number of guests (50). Our wedding coordinator, Alison, was clearly very experienced and was extremely patient, helpful and attentive with organising our wedding. We had complete trust in the Goldsborough team that they would work well with our suppliers to set up everything just how we envisioned and they didin't disappoint. We felt at home with every visit and everyone complemented how beautiful the hall was, along with the great food and the bedrooms. Alison, Mel and the team were fantastic all the way through the whole process of holding our wedding at Goldsborough. Communication was great while planning the wedding, with their experience helping us throughout and great relationships with a team of trusted suppliers making the process much easier. On the day everything ran smoothly and we had lots of compliments from our guests. The whole venue was beautifully prepared, with slick transitions as we moved through the different elements of the day. The food was couldn't have been better! The whole event went ahead as planned leaving us to enjoy the perfect day and spent time with guests. We are so glad we chose Goldsborough Hall and the team and couldn't recommend them enough. Don’t look at any other venue! Don’t look at any other venue!
We looked at several venues and chose this as it just had that WOW factor!including character of the building, the surroundings, the ease of parking, the rooms, and just the feel of the place. The room for the ceremony and dancing was perfect and the orangery was just the most amazing place to have the wedding breakfast in. Then there were the staff! They all were literally amazing and couldn’t do enough to make the day so special, even at the food tasting weeks before we stayed over and they were amazing. Speaking of food, every single guest loved it all, from canopies to the main meal, top top quality. Alison who was the wedding coordinator was the best I could have asked for, she guided us through everything from our initial look around to helping on the day, she made everything seem so easy and was always there when I went into panic mode! I can’t recommend her and Goldsborough Hall enough! Don’t look at wedding venues without seeing this one. Overall our Wedding day was a success thanks to our family and friends. The Goldsborough Hall venue itself was spectacular. Unfortunately for us, on the day, they were extremely understaffed, to the extent no glasses were replenished during our drinks reception and several guests didn't get any canapés. We had problems at the bar with generally only 1 person serving for a wedding of 94 guests for the majority of the day. After our Wedding, we were faced with an extraordinarily high bar bill, which they couldn't explain in many areas. Overall, we were very disappointment and spent 7 weeks of married life trying to resolve the many issues that arose from the day, which we did eventually get some compensation for their downfalls.Overall our Wedding day was a success thanks to our family and friends. We couldn't have asked for more from our wedding venue. The day was absolutely perfect, which was in no small part down to the amazing efforts the team put into it. Everytime we visited in the lead up to our big day we have always felt so well taken care of and this only amplified on our wedding day. Everything was so special.
