Amazing venue which was easily personalised to our tastes. The team really went out of their way to make the experience extra special with small gestures along the way. We would very happily recommend to friends and family!

Godwick is a beautiful venue off the beaten track, nestled in the Norfolk countryside. It truly feels like a magical place. Every staff member went above and beyond to make it special. We'd like to give a shout out to Hannah in particular, who guided us through and picked up the fine details without us even having to ask!

We highly recommend the elopement wedding. It was a wonderful experience. We also can’t thank Hannah enough for helping us locate one of the rings in the grass with a metal detector when it was dropped. She was a life saver! Thank you to all the team, what a wonderful bunch of people.

Choosing Godwick as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. We loved absolutely everything about the barn and the accommodation. Hannah provided us with such valuable support and really went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel confident that our day would be a success. It was such a highlight to be able to have our families and closest friends be able to stay at the venue with a particular highlight being the bridal party being able to use the Stables to get ready on the day and be able to fully debrief with everyone on the Sunday! The Great Barn was a magical venue and totally exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful to the entire team at Godwick for enabling us to have such an incredible wedding day!

Godwick Hall is a gorgeous place, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue and the team. Our elopement wedding in May 2024 was better than we could have ever imagined - a beautiful venue with the most lovely people who were genuinely invested in making our day as magical as it could possibly be. The response from James to our initial enquiry was prompt and helpful. The elopement package included accommodation in a shepherd's hut, which looked lovely, but wasn't suitable for our two dogs, Maisy & Raffy. There was no issue with upgrading to the Old Stables, which was an absolutely beautiful, spacious, calming place to stay, and to get ready on our wedding day. Once we had the wedding date & time booked, the wonderful Debbie-Lee arranged calls to talk us through how our day would work, things we might want to consider and options for local suppliers; and then kept in touch to see how we were doing and to make sure that everything was covered as the day got nearer. Super dog-friendly, Debbie-Lee took us to look round the Hall when we arrived the day before, so it wasn't new to the dogs (or us) on the day; then she and Jenni acted as combined witnesses / dog carers / dog treat providers, as needed, before, during and after the ceremony on the day itself. And, for the ceremony, Debbie-Lee sorted playing the music we'd chosen and did our reading too. An unexpected tear or two and being 'chauffeured' on the tractor to the ruins of the medieval Godwick church by James all added to making an incredible, uniquely memorable day that exceeded all expectations, and truly surprised us with just how good it was. Thank you to all at Godwick Hall for making our day and our stay so very special!

Me and my partner booked Godwick after a chance visit in January 2023. The location and venue were gorgeous, the staff were so welcoming and kind, we were sold very quickly. Once we'd booked, the team were excellent at communicating with us throughout the process, making sure we were prepared, comfortable and fully in control before the big day. In the run up to our wedding weekend, we had regular calls with Jenni, who helped to structure our day properly and get everything arranged. Our on the day manager, Debbie-Lee was an absolute star - so personal, attentive and always looking for that one extra thing to make me and my partner feel special. We thank the whole Godwick team for their fantastic service and beautiful venue, but Debbie-Lee really wowed us all, so particular shout-out to her! We also had the privilege to stay at the on-site accommodation for the entire weekend of our wedding alongside our family - we adored it - beautiful vistas, fun games nights and amazing memories throughout the weekend. I cannot recommend this venue and wonderful team enough! Thank you Godwick!

Honestly one of the best days ever. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Debbie-Lee, our wedding planner who truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The venue itself is beautiful and cosy, perfect for our winter elopement! No notes!!

We can’t thank the team at Godwick for hosting our wedding. Nothing was too much of an ask and everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The venue is just stunning, and the team are super flexible with what suppliers you can use which is often not the case with many other venues. Accommodation is simply gorgeous, and housed all our family. We feel super lucky to have had the experience we had with our family and friends. Wish we could do it all again!

Loved everything about our wedding, from start to finish. We decided to have a very small elopement, just us and our two small children. It was very sweet and intimate. The ceremony room itself was beautiful and felt so romantic. We hired a tractor and went to the barn with the ruins in the distance. A really wet rainy day but that didn’t matter at all- it actually made it quite funny. The children led the way really and it was perfect it being relaxed and going with the flow. The staff at the venue were so attentive and made sure it was the most special day for us, and it really was.
