Every single member of staff went out of their way to make this a special day for both ourselves and our guests, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time, we really can't thank them enough. Incredibly intimate because of the layout of the restaurants, there is no running amok or being away from each other. An inbuilt social element that most places just can't replicate. This also leads to a much more relaxing vibe for your guests and, by extension yourselves. The ceremony here is magical - hard to believe we have this on Brook street in the Ferry, and it really positions itself as top contender for most beautiful venue in Dundee, and also best food! I have photographed a few weddings at Forgans Broughty Ferry and they are 10/10 for the couples and guests experience. Lovely surroundings, and they gave us a more private area for our meal, which was fab. The food was tasty, plentiful and thoroughly enjoyed by all. I particularly enjoyed my haggis Bon bons (v popular), lamb rump with chorizo -V yummy, and sticky toffee pudding (another v popular choice). Cannot praise Ben the manager of the BF branch enough as he is always so reliable, flexible and helpful. The food is fantastic.We were served by Megan mostly who was fantastic but all the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The venue was beautiful on the big day, lots of little touches such as the cricket boards made it feel personal to us and really special. The staff were brilliant and the service was great, there were no lengthy waits at the bar despite there being a large number of guests. We felt completely at ease and able to fully enjoy our day. It was very rainy, so didn’t think this was possible. This did not phase the wonderful staff at Forgans- as they went above and beyond. I stepped through the green doors of Forgans to find they had closed the whole of the outside area and set up a fairytale aisle with candles, blankets supplied - I was nearly in tears. It was gorgeous. I would recommend Forgan’s for any wedding venueMy husband and I always wanted to use their outside space to get married and then when the day came.
