Paul, Heather and Chloe were great! We had an initial meeting with Paul & Heather to show us around Blakelands and to explain what packages etc were available. The team were always available to answer any questions in the lead up to our wedding. Blakelands is just beautiful and gave our quests so much room to relax and enjoy our day. Plus the food is amazing! Highly recommend!Myself and my now husband had our reception at Blakelands following our wedding at St Mary’s church. We had the most magical day! Heather, Paul & Chloe were so supportive and accommodating throughout the whole planning experience, offering advice, recommendations & support fitting everything we wanted into our budget. All of our guests had the most amazing time and even a slight downpour mid ceremony did not stop us having our dream of an outside ceremony. The house & grounds are just gorgeous & steeped in history which meant so much to us both. The day went so smoothly and we truly we treated like royalty, especially our little cavapoo Sunny who made a guest appearance! The food was just to die for and the freshly made pizzas on the evening went down a treat! We cannot thank you enough for such an amazing day! The communication throughout was fantastic, and every single member of staff was so helpful and genuinely invested in making our day special. The grounds are simply beautiful, and the food was absolutely amazing – so many of our guests commented on it. The team went above and beyond to make us feel completely at ease. They even decorated the venue for us, which took away so much of the stress and allowed us to truly enjoy the build-up to the day. Being able to drop everything off the day before was such a relief, and the Loft for getting ready in was a lovely, thoughtful touch. We also felt incredibly privileged to be only the third couple to marry in front of the house – a setting that made our ceremony feel truly unique and unforgettable. Blakelands Estate will always hold a special place in our hearts. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The day went completely smoothly, we had our ceremony outdoors on the walled lawns as we always wanted to marry outside & it was perfect! Paul was brilliant on the day, his communication between us & the team was amazing & couldn't have asked for it to have gone better. The decoration was beautiful, exactly how we had asked for & imagined & the food/drink throughout the day was amazing too! The bridal suite was stunning & breakfast was lovely the next day. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely amazing — so organized, friendly, and genuinely caring. One example of this was that a guest had broken their shoes early on in the day and a staff member helped to fix them for her. It is the little things like this that add to an already amazing experience, not just for us, but for the guests as well. Many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they had been to! On the day itself, I didn’t have to lift a finger — they took care of absolutely everything, which meant I could just relax and enjoy every moment. The venue was breath-taking, with so many beautiful spots for photos. We are beyond grateful to Blakelands for making our day completely stress-free and unforgettable! I never had to wait too long for a response to my multiple questions (as silly as they were sometimes!!). Chloe, Heather and Paul made sure the day was completely seamless and, if anything did go wrong, we certainly didn't notice. They had a wonderful knack of making sure the day went so smoothly, even though we had a couple of last minute changes. The food was fantastic and all our guests really enjoyed it - some even went up for seconds! For any brides considering Blakelands, I would highly recommend booking the Loft to get ready in. It was a gorgeous room for you to get glammed up in. With the music going, it will definitely help you feel relaxed the morning of your big day. I had a surprise singer booked for my husband and they kept the secret so well! It all added to the magic of the day. A huge thank you to the team at Blakelands - from Chloe, Heather and Paul to the bar staff, the team serving food and everyone else.
