For ceremonies, Shotton Grange boasts a number of areas where couples can tie the knot. Those keen to say ‘I do’ in the open air are welcome to in the Walled Garden or at the front of the house, with breathtaking views of the fountain. Alternatively, the Coach House provides a well-lit indoor area where vows may be exchanged as guests watch on in awe. The style of this space is defined by exposed beams, authentic stonework and bi-folding glass doors. After saying your I Do's, the celebrations can begin. While you enjoy photos around the grounds your guests can make their way to the Manor House where our Cocktail bar and Lounge awaits for drinks and canapes. The wedding breakfast will be held in our beautiful Coach House, you and your guests are welcomed to take your seat as mouth-watering meals are served from our delicious choices. Our Kitchen team have prepared an array of choices to serve for your first meal, pair these with our fine wines to compliment every dish. Welcome your evening guests with our in house DJ, capture your first dance as newly wed's under our festoon lighting creating the perfect highlight for your photo's. In the evening treat your guests to a Vintage Pizza Van, Hog Roast or have our team serve your guests whether they are dancing in our Coach House or relaxing in our Walled Gardens. What's included -Shotton Grange’s dedicated team who will go the extra mile for you and your guest's including our Master of Ceremonies. -Exclusive use of our Grounds, Coach House & Cocktail Bar. -The Manor House and Cottage, featuring 11 bedrooms sleeping twenty-two. With a mix of Classic Doubles and Superior Suites all boasting their own character features along with en-suite facilities. -Use of our In House DJ who will tailor the night to your personal music taste. -After a relaxing night get together in our drawing room for a full English breakfast the following morning. The venue is absolutely stunning, and the grounds which are tucked away amongst the trees created the perfect setting for our day. The day itself genuinely could not have been any more perfect. The staff were outstanding from start to finish. Every single person was so friendly, helpful and attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We visited several times for open days and planning meetings, each time we were made to feel completely at ease. Any questions we had were answered quickly and confidently, which reassured us that we were in the very best hands. The food was unreal. We attended a tasting evening and everything we tried was delicious, it made the decision for our Wedding breakfast so easy. On the day itself the catering was just as impressive. Our guests were full of compliments, and we have to give a special mention to the pear and apricot crumble, which was absolutely incredible! We felt the package we chose offered excellent value for money. It included extras like s’mores over the fire pits and sparklers, then we added fire tables and heaters - it gave the evening a cosy, magical feeling which was perfect for an October wedding. The celebrations continued into the best night of dancing and delicious wood-fired pizzas! Staying overnight was a lovely way to end the day. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and breakfast the next morning was a great chance to catch up with our family and friends as newly weds. We are so grateful to the entire team at Shotton Grange, our day really was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! It was a gorgeous autumn day which complemented the beautiful surroundings, such as the walled garden and the grounds of Shotton Grange which are full of mature tree lines and shrubbery. The staff who were running out wedding day were impeccable. The day ran without a hitch, we were fully briefed on what to do and where to go at particular points in the day. They could not have been more helpful. Roseanne was amazing - we could not have asked for someone more astute. Her conduct and fine eye for detail just made our day perfect. The food was amazing - and I must say I probably had the best tomato soup ever as my starter. We were allowed to swap out our menu, as we wanted a simple roast for our main, all our guests were catered for and nothing that came out of the kitchen was less than perfect. Finally, the administration staff, those who communicated with us right until the final few days before the wedding - they were excellent. Emma and Charlotte communicated with us so well, every problem we had they solved it, and every question was answered. They accommodated everything we asked for and more. I sincerely could not have asked for a better place for Jason and I to have married. Our guests are still telling us about what an amazing day they had and we just had the best day of our lives! They ensured the whole day ran smoothly and made us and our guests feel so well looked after. Nothing was rushed, nothing felt forced—just relaxed, joyful, and beautifully executed. The food was stunning—elegant, full of flavour, and praised by so many of our guests. And the venue itself… a total fairytale. Every corner is picture-perfect, the setting is serene and elegant, and the entire atmosphere is magical. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Everything from booking our Wedding to the run of the day was just amazing and all down to the amazing staff including Emma, Charlotte, Mir and all the other members involved. All our guests have commented on the amazing service and food. The weather was certainly on our side with 29 degree weather meaning we had our ceremony at the front of the house and throughout the day our guests were able to mingle throughout the grounds. We wish we could re do the day all over again and wouldn’t change a thing! The best day that we could have asked for!
