The Bond offers a choice of stunning spaces to make your day truly unique. The Gatehouse, with its historic character and light-filled interiors, provides a memorable setting for your “I do’s,” seating up to 160 guests for a heartfelt ceremony. For your wedding breakfast and evening celebration, the Canopy is the showstopper. This impressive glass-fronted space overlooks the River Rea and canal, flooding your day with natural light and creating an unforgettable atmosphere as the sun sets. The canal runs through the very middle of our huge outside courtyard. Imagine a summer's day outside with your guests enjoying delicious cocktails, homemade canapes and photos on our very own floating pontoon. With space for up to 190 seated guests and a dance floor to follow, it’s a versatile and inspiring location for your celebration. Every corner of The Bond is rich with history, offering endless photo opportunities that capture the romance and energy of your big day.

I wish the couple could have made an entrance in a yacht as we had the canal as the perfect backdrop to such a beautiful day. We did have some stunning pictures by the canal and our guests did take loads of selfies by the canal. The management and staff was very helpful and friendly.I have such beautiful memories at The Bond Company as it was the perfect venue for my second daughter's wedding. No query was too trivial and they were always ready to answer our calls. On the day the venue was dressed beyond our wildest dreams and everything was in the exact place we wanted, the room was beautiful and the staff literally could not do enough. They smiled and chatted to our guests working amazingly hard and nothing was too much. I couldn't recommend the venue, staff, food more.We booked the venue over 14 months before our wedding. Too many to mention but the best are those when our couples are truly relaxed with radiant smiles.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have a date night every couple of weeks to talk about all things wedding related. It stops wedding admin talking over your life, by having a date night scheduled you know this when you can both talk about where you at with wedding planning, what still needs doing, who's going to do it. Also as a venue we are here to answer any questions you have anytime, however small - just reach out to us.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
When I see couples incorporating places they've been together - tables named after the places with pictures of the couple on every table - its these special touches your guests will connect with the most.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Has to be on our floating pontoon surrounded by the calm waters of the canal & a backdrop of incredible graffiti.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We may have had a few celebs visit the Bond before, the likes of Joanna Lumley & Jonathan Ross!!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini Dry Aged Beef Patty, Sweet Lettuce, Onion Jam in a Brioche Bun
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It has to be our Wood Fired Pizza - the most popular evening food option by far.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
That we are right on the canal with it coming up into our outside courtyard. Its peaceful & tranquil but also right in the city centre - there is nowhere else like it.
