Cubley Hall is a wonderful, old, rescued country house set in 4.5 acres of stunningly beautiful South Yorkshire countryside, located just on the edge of the ancient market town of Penistone and close to the Yorkshire Cities of Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford.

We got married outside in the bandstand and had a reception and buffet in the barn. All the staff at Cubley Hall are amazing and nothing was too much bother for them. Everyone went above and beyond, including Sandra the wedding organiser she was great from start to finish and she has loads of great recommendations for suppliers. This venue was perfect for us as it was our dream to get married outside in a bandstand, We recently got married at Cubley Hall and this venue was absolutely fantastic. Well worth every ounce of stress which made me feel at ease once I’d been settled down. I cannot fault the venue for ensuring every detail was perfect and exactly what we asked for. I have to particularly praise Sandra the wedding coordinator for her attention to detail, support throughout planning a wedding in a pandemic and ensuring the day ran smoothly. The venue is just stunning and the staff are amazing - nothing was too much trouble. Sandra who is the events coordinator went over and above and kept us on track leading up to the day and she and her team made sure our day ran smoothly without us having to put any thought into anything at all. The food was superb. Lots of different dietary requirements catered for. Fabulous in every way. Food, service, bedrooms, the Barn, Sandra (Banqueting manager), staff - all amazing. Rooms: Beautiful, comfy bed, great shower. I cant say enough positive things in this short space. The hotel was fabulous. Rooms spotless and comfortable, the food was wonderful too, but it was the staff that made it the perfect stay.
