Precious moments of uncomplicated happiness are our constant inspiration and it is with this in mind that we welcome you to experience Weddings at Howsham Hall. Your own Country House for a staycation... Howsham Hall, is the perfect venue for a one, two or even three night stay, including exclusive use. Howsham Hall has 12 sumptuous bedrooms, offering guests a stay within a chic retreat, marrying a perfect blend of stylish interiors with a backdrop of a period house.
Howsham Hall is a magnificent Grade I listed building and happens to have the most spectacular Bridal Suite, which is one of the largest in Europe!! This amazing suite features its own private sitting room with larger lounge area, ideal for the bridal morning preparations. The ceremony is the centerpiece of your wedding day! Our Great Hall, with its tasteful décor and chandelier lighting, is a truly romantic setting for the ceremony. Once the ‘I Do’s’ are done, it’s onto the celebrations! The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the majestic building for photographs. Guests can also mingle and chat, making use of the light filled Staircase Hall.
No Celebration is complete without food and drink! Your guests will be blown away by The Drawing Room as your Wedding Breakfast setting, it is truly spectacular! As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your Wedding Day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs.
When it is party time, Howsham Hall has its very own evening bar and dance floor wing! Guests can enjoy a cocktail with a view! Once your booking of Howsham Hall is confirmed, you'll be introduced to your Event Manager. Viewings are held by appointment and can be arranged at a time that suits you. We cannot wait to welcome you to Howsham Hall!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our beautiful Riverside Terrace overlooking the Yorkshire countryside at sunset or the grand staircase is pretty spectacular!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've seen a few, but are tight-lipped!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our chefs created a new vegan canape this year- spring rolls of marinated root vegetables- fresh and so colourful! We also have a brand new cultural Asian menu available!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
You can't beat putting your feet up in front of the fire with some cheese and biscuits, maybe with some figs and a glass of port!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our bridal suite is enormous- it's four rooms, and reputedly one of the most unique and largest in Europe!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our team. We have been guiding couples through out their wedding journeys and delivering exceptional events for nearly 20 years! We are all very proud to be able to offer this venue exclusively. Look at some of our amazing reviews!
