Crown Hotel Bawtry

We had our wedding at the Crown Hotel Bawtry on the 24th of August and it was the most incredible day. From the minute we booked the staff were amazing. I had so many questions which they were all more than happy to answer. Our guests were blown away by the service they received and how smooth the day was. I cannot fault a single part of our day. They really know what they are doing and genuinely love their jobs which is fantastic to see. The food was also 10/10, if you are thinking about booking here for your wedding, absolutely do it, you will not regret it. We will be back to see you again soon guys!

The events team were unbelievably good. They are so professional and took the stress out of everything. The whole day was faultless, it was far better than we could possibly have imagined. Both ourselves and our guests felt so well looked after by the full team. The food was amazing!! Everything was so well organised which led to the most perfect day.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much to ask, food was amazing. All our guests said how amazing the venue was and how impressed they were.

We recently had our wedding reception at The Crown Bawtry and we honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. The day was everything we had hoped for and more. Nothing was too much trouble, the day ran so smoothly. A special mention to Tony who was amazing on the day. I would definitely recommend The Crown to anyone looking for a wedding venue, you won’t be disappointed. Xxx

The crown hotel event team were excellent, quick to reply to my questions and friendly. Special thanks to Tori for an excellent service and to Tony the master of ceremonies, they couldn’t have been more helpful. The venue was perfect with a beautiful small garden at the rear of the room. The food was first class, they catered for a few guests with dietary needs( vegetarian, lactose intolerant and celiac) The service was excellent and everyone seemed to go out of their way to make the day memorable.

We’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the entire team at the Crown Hotel that made our wedding such an amazing experience. From the initial meetings and planning to the actual day we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff throughout are a credit to the hotel and made our day everything we wanted it to be and more. A special mention has to be made for Tony, who went above and beyond what we expected, especially the way he was with my 14 year old son/best man when he got upset about doing his speech, the man is a legend.

We chose The Crown as our venue because of the size & how lovely the room we would be getting married in was (Hogarth Suite). They were always very responsive whenever contacted & nothing seemed too much. On the actual day everything was sorted for us, we didn’t have to do any of the setting up which was also a big bonus as that’s the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day. All of the food prepared by The Crown was delicious. For our wedding breakfast one of our choices was beef wellington, I can’t tell you how many of our guests raved about how good it was. The wedding breakfast was that good that I was too full for the bbq they put on in the evening…which was also a firm favourite with the evening guests. We chose to use the resident DJ who was a lovely guy & accommodating with our music choices. We emailed him before the big day with a list of songs we wanted & he played them all. All in all, it really was our perfect wedding made even more perfect by a wonder venue & setup.

The Crown was the perfect venue for our wedding, we had the best day & was made to feel so special! We ended up booking The Crown after attending one of their wedding showcases, I'd recommend going to one of these as they have some fab vendors that they partner with too. From the booking enquiry stage right up to the big day the team were so helpful, big thank you to Tori and Lindsey for helping us organise the perfect day, I inundated them with questions in the run up and they were always so informative and friendly, taking away any stress that comes up when wedding planning. We had around a 100 guests and The Crown handled everything so seamlessly, from the amazing food and coordination on the day. The Hogarth Suite is just stunning, and we made the most out of the secret garden; we have some beautiful photos taken there. On the day, Tony was coordinating and he was just the best, he ensured all of the little details and decorations were there when setting up the room and made the day run so smooth. I would thoroughly recommend The Crown for a wedding venue and thanks again to all the staff who made our day so special.

Completely Faultlesss We both agree the whole thing was completely faultless and there is nothing we would change. No constructive comments. You’ve honestly got something very special there. From our first initial chat to the day itself, you were all so helpful and amazing. Any small queries we had they was answered promptly. It was amazing! Lindsey was fantastic with all the organising and Libby was absolutely amazing on the day making sure everything ran smoothly - even running after myself (the bride) to make sure I had a drink in my hand every second.
