Genuinely warm kind hearted people doing a job they love. From start to finish my Wedding exceeded my expectations, and then some! The Venue was stunning & the food was mouth watering!! I was treated like an absolute Queen, nothing was too much trouble, if you are thinking about booking a wedding here, you will not be disappointed! They accommodated all of the outside vendors we’d hired and nothing was too much trouble for them. Toni was fantastic as Master of Ceremonies and if anything went wrong on the day we had no idea. I could nitpick a few little things that weren't quite right or weren't to plan but honestly at this point I wouldn't be able to tell you what those things were. The venue could probably criticise us for all our last minute changes which they happily accommodated and dealt with without question and all we could remember is how perfect the day was. We did the wedding on a budget but you wouldn't be able to tell because what you get for your money included in the crown package is so much, especially for such a beautiful venue. I have had several of our guests tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to. A large part of that is down to the Crown.We had a wonderful day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, and not just towards my husband and myself but other guests mentioned how they often checked in with guests to make sure all was ok. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and make the whole experience even more amazing! I just wish I could remember names to point them out but even if I did, I’d have to name about 25 people! The food - just wow. Every single person raved about the food, it was amazing. Beautiful quality, plenty of it and presented lovely. One guest ordered the beef wellington and when cutting into it noticed it must have been an end piece of meat due to it being overdone, the waiter who was the other side of the table heard him mention this and offered to replace it. Within about 3 minutes he had a replacement which was perfect - fantastic customer service. There is not one thing I would do differently if we had our day again. All in all we stayed at The Crown for 3 nights, the rooms are clean, comfy and spacious. The food in the restaurant was again wonderful, plenty of it and reasonably priced. Our guests and us were also extremely pleased with the breakfast choices and quality. Thank you so much for making our day fantastic, it will never be forgotten and we can’t wait to come and stay with you again! From the minute we booked the staff were amazing. I had so many questions which they were all more than happy to answer. Our guests were blown away by the service they received and how smooth the day was. I cannot fault a single part of our day. They really know what they are doing and genuinely love their jobs which is fantastic to see. The food was also 10/10, if you are thinking about booking here for your wedding, absolutely do it, you will not regret it. We will be back to see you again soon guys!
