The 1,000-year-old ruin sits atop a hill in Purbeck, Dorset and offers panoramic coast and countryside vistas along with views of our quintessentially English Corfe village and local steam train.
We’re licenced to hold civil ceremonies and symbolic blessings throughout the castle and with exclusive hire after 4pm, can create a wedding completely unique to you and your wishes.
The castle grounds provide an exceptionally flexible canvas and we highly recommend arranging a visit, where we’d be delighted to show you around and hear all about the vision for your wedding.

The Keep is the most imposing and iconic section of the castle. Built in the 11th century for King and Queens, it was designed to be impressive and still stands stoically tall. The Gloriette is an artistic mosaic of archways and adornments made even more romantically charming in its ruined state. This area is generally where we hold our ceremonies and holds up to 40 guests with picnic style seating.
The West Bailey is the oldest part of the castle with roots back to before the Norman conquest in 1066. It provides incredible 360 degree views over the village, countryside and coast and ceremony space for up to 70 guests.
