Firstly, some honorable mentions. Geetha who was our first point of call and helped organize everything. Pramod who was the duty manager for the day. Krishan and another lady receptionist who name I unfortunately cannot recall atm. The chef and waiters. All of these people did an amazing job! Really helped us make our day just perfect. Our wedding was for around 65 guests and the champagne lounge and grand ballroom are more than enough to cater for this. The Grand Ballroom just looks divine! It really was everything me and my wife hoped for. Lovely pillars, great lighting, a pristine painted ceiling and a solid wooden floor. The staff were all lovely, easy to work with and really attentive to everything we needed. The venue doesn't specialize in Indian food catering. But their chef was willing to make a bespoke menu for our wedding. It was a risk we thought at first. Our initial food tasting confirmed our fears. The chef hadn't truly understood what it was we were looking for. But we trusted him, we gave A LOT of feedback. He took it all on and then we went back for another tasting. My god, believe me when I say - it was better than a specialized Indian caterer. We couldn't believe how amazing the food was. He understood pretty much everything. But then the wedding breakfast..... Just when you thought as long as it is like the second tasting I'll be happy. Nope, nothing like it -IT WAS BETTER! Like everyone could not get enough of the food. The papri chaat, chilli paneer, shami kebab, daal makhani, naan, rice, raita, gobi, veg jalfrezi and everything else was just simply put - stupendous. I am so grateful that he took the wedding on and it was everything we could have wanted from the food. If you are looking to do an Indian wedding, don't be afraid to ask and communicate. They will help and sort it out for you. Geetha was super helpful through out the whole process. From start to finish! And Pramod ran the day perfectly even though he only received the itinerary about a week before the event! The waiters were so polite and well organized. They really put in a shift the whole day. Oh and the price - it would have been worth it at double the price! Whoever might read this and think - "hmmmm I'm not too sure" - trust me, it is the perfect place for the most intimate wedding! Both myself and my partner want to thank the wonderful team at Colwick Hall for the fabulous day we had at our wedding this month! From the moment we first viewed Colwick as a potential venue we instantly knew it was the perfect place for us, such a beautiful location with so much character and personality! The service we received from the moment we booked was absolutely brilliant, Geetha answered all my hundreds of questions in the build up to our big day and explained everything we needed to know. The day itself was magical, we couldn't have asked for a better time and we want to express our sincere thanks to Sam and the team on site for the incredible planning and making us feel so welcome and cherished on the day, you really looked after us :) You even made bedtimes for our two toddlers on the evening of the wedding doable by helping us keep watch of the monitors, you are incredible! Thank you so so much, it meant everything to have your support xxx

A huge thank you to Colwick Hall for the most incredible wedding day! The venue, suite, food, staff, everything… was amazing. Simply stunning! We are so pleased we chose to have our special day at Colwick Hall and will look forward to having many anniversaries celebrating there!

This venue is beautiful with it's gardens, fountains and the lake at the back. It is close enough to Nottingham City Centre to experience it, but tucked away enough to feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. Throughout the whole weekend we felt like true royalty! Every bride deserves to feel how I felt that day. It is so heart-warming how much you all genuinely care and never ever change that ethic. We are so happy to have chosen your hotel as our wedding venue.

We booked a table for 13 and a room for my daughter and son in law to stay on there wedding night. The whole experience was amazing, from the meal to the room, this was all arranged as a surprise for them, the service I received from Sam to help me book and arrange this was outstanding, she was always approachable and friendly. My daughter and son in law really enjoyed there stay , it was an excellent end to an excellent day. The service given to us by all at Colwick Hall was outstanding.

Hi Geetha, We are just heading off for our honeymoon but we wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Colwick Hall who made our wedding so special. The service and care and attention was incredible. We really felt looked after and amongst friends. The food was fantastic so please pass our thanks to the chef and the waiter and bar service was also perfect. Sam and Hari were absolute stars. We will write a review when we return from honeymoon but just wanted to thank you all personally.

I had my wedding party in Colwick Hall on the 20th of August. The environment was great. Naomi organised the event very well. The staff were friendly and approachable. The hospitality service was brilliant. The room was well decorated with lights and the gardens surrounding were brilliantly designed. I liked the fountain and the big pond at the back very much. In addition, the food and drink were well cooked and made, and served with style. Overall it was an outstanding experience. Xinying Li
