In the beautiful county of Dorset this Grade I listed building, is a wonderful and picturesque venue for your special day. At Canford, we want your wedding to be unique so we only offer a handful of dates every year, each with exclusive use of the manor house and grounds. We are licensed for civil ceremonies of between 50 and 130 guests taking place in the stunning Old Library or Long Gallery. For your reception, dine in the breath taking Great Hall, with its sweeping staircase and minstrels’ gallery where the Prince of Wales once danced after a shooting party. Our talented chefs will use the finest locally sourced ingredients to provide you with a delicate yet delicious menu. Our maximum number for your evening reception is 180. We offer flexibility within such a distinctive venue, and strongly believe your wedding day should be tailored to you -whatever your style and taste, our events team will work with you create a memorable day. Every wedding day feels a little bit magical, and we take real pride in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Canford wedding packages are tailored to your individual requirements. As a guide, our minimum weekday, low-season package for 50 guests starts from approximately £10,600. This includes venue hire with exclusive use of the Manor House and Sunken Lawn for you and your guests, along with chairs, tables, linen, crockery, glassware, and staffing. The package also includes a three-course wedding breakfast and our classic drinks package. For a high-season weekend wedding for 80 guests, the total would be approximately £23,920. This includes all of the above, plus canapés, use of our getting-ready rooms with breakfast, and overnight accommodation for two nights. We also offer Premium and Elite drinks packages, as well as a range of menu upgrades, allowing you to tailor your day even further. Our wedding day Our wedding day
Canford school was the perfect place to host our wedding reception! Aside from the building and grounds being totally stunning, the food, planning and support along the way was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured for anything and felt that everything was so well executed and organised by Chloe and Caitlin. Our other suppliers loved working with them and we had freedom in choosing them too. Overall the whole experience was 5 star and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Our guests still talk about it now almost a year on. Thank you so much Canford! Canford school was the perfect place to host our wedding reception! The actual day was better than either of us could've imagined, everything went so smoothly and I was never worried that anything was going to go wrong. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, everything we were looking for. It looks so impressive in all of our guests photos and we can't wait for the official photos to come through. The food was incredible, we had so many comments about that beef! The pizza in the evening was lovely as well. Overall it was the best day, everything we wanted! The Perfect VenueThe Perfect Venue
I can’t praise Canford School enough, we got married in September 2022 and everything was just perfect. From the minute we enquired to the day itself everything was spot on. We requested for our Wedding breakfast to be in the Library rather than the Grand Hall and they were so accommodating. On the day it couldn’t of ran any smoother, the staff were incredible & the food was something you would eat at a top restaurant. I can’t praise Canford School enough, we got married in September 2022 and everything was just perfect. From the minute we enquired to the day itself everything was spot on. Amazing VenueAmazing Venue
We chose Canford as we were getting married end of March and in England you can never guarantee the weather! We wanted somewhere which was just as beautiful inside as it was out, and Canford certainly delivered! The venue is stunning! It has beautiful grounds outside and the inside is like Hogwarts great hall! On the day itself both wedding coordinators (Chloe and Caitlin) were there to ensure the day went smoothly, without hindering our enjoyment of our special day. Words truly cannot express how incredible our wedding at canford. Chloe, Caitlin and all the staff went out of their way to make our day absolutely amazing. First off, the building and grounds and stunning and made for the most amazing photos. We were married in the old library Secondly- the food. WOW! Our guests have not stopped talking about the food months on and have said it’s the best that they’ve had at a wedding, with some saying it’s possibly the best food they’ve had out in a long time.Words truly cannot express how incredible our wedding at canford.
