Bredon Manor is a family home made for a wedding weekend. Set in Bredon, near Tewkesbury and Cheltenham on the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire border, the Georgian manor brings together gardens, a stone barn, cottages and a seasonal outdoor pool.
Owned and run by Charlie and Peter, Bredon hosts a limited number of weddings each year. Couples have exclusive use for their celebration, with time to settle in, make the spaces their own and spend more than a few hours with the people they have brought together.
The barn has two connected rooms, with space for a wedding breakfast for up to 80 guests and evening celebrations for up to 100. For larger weddings, a separately hired marquee on the front lawn accommodates up to 150 guests, with the Manor as its backdrop.
St Giles’ Church is immediately next door, reached through a private garden gate. Couples can walk straight from the churchyard into the gardens for reception drinks. Celebrant-led blessings can also take place in the barn or grounds. Bredon Manor is not licensed for civil ceremonies, so couples choosing a blessing complete the legal ceremony separately.
Napier is the exclusive caterer, creating menus around each couple, from canapés and a wedding breakfast to relaxed evening food. There is no corkage charge for bringing your own wine and champagne, and couples are free to choose their other suppliers.
Weekend hire includes the Coach House and Manor House Lodge for eight guests on Friday and Saturday, plus two Manor bedrooms on Saturday, bringing the included Saturday accommodation to 12. Two further Manor bedrooms can be added on Saturday, taking the total to 16.
Friday access to the barn allows time to set up. Long tables and chairs for 80, a PA system and microphone in the barn, venue coordination on Friday and Saturday, and parking for up to 50 cars are included. Friday welcome events and Sunday pool celebrations are available as paid additions.
Weddings take place on Saturdays, with optional celebrations either side. A private showround is the best way to explore the spaces and talk through how the weekend could work for you.

Can we make a weekend of it?
Yes. Saturday weddings include Friday access to the barn for setup and two nights in the cottages. Friday welcome events and Sunday pool celebrations are available for an additional charge, giving everyone more time to settle in and celebrate together.
Can we hold our ceremony at Bredon Manor?
