We had the most incredible honeymoon and couldn’t stop talking about the most special weekend of our lives at Berkeley. Thank you so much for everything, from day one you were one of the main reasons we chose the castle. You put our minds at ease and we had total confidence the wedding would be calm and happy in your hands. It beat our expectations by miles. We still cannot believe how relaxing and stress free the day was. The suppliers were all insanely good and the venue looked unbelievable.

Thank you so much for all your help & support on the lead up and the day of our wedding. Your enthusiasm and patience whilst we asked countless questions was greatly appreciated. We were overjoyed with how the day went and have now received our wonderful photos so we can look in awe again at the magnificent backdrop of Berkeley Castle. Thank you for making it all possible.

We always wanted to get married in a castle, but we got so much more with Berkeley. A weekend filled with love, happiness and fun! The roaring fires, grand piano, historic tour for our guests, the cottages all weekend were like a home away from home, a dedicated supplier list who know and love the castle, and the best food our guests have ever experienced at a wedding from Napier catering! The team at the castle care, they show kindness and professionalism in all the support they offer. And a Special shout out to Pippa who was the discreet puppeteer behind the success of our wedding! Her expertise, calm attitude and HUGE smile throughout our year of planning and during the day has been an absolute pleasure and one of our main reasons for booking in the first place. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Berkeley is a small town located between Bristol and Gloucester, in the English county of Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds. The historical town has existed in the Vale of Berkeley for over 9 centuries, as long as its main tourist attraction, Berkeley Castle. Our wedding was the best day of our lives. We had more than 120 guests from around the world coming to Berkeley Castle to celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Thank you so much to our fairytale godmother Pippa and the Berkley Castle team who ensured the bride and groom could focus on the celebration and having fun. We enjoyed every minute of the day, as all the details behind the scenes, communication with excellent vendors who regularly work at Berkeley and proactive planning were handled seamlessly. Guests took a tour before they moved to the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast. The castle is rich with history, everyone from King Henry VIII to Shakespeare. And how could you not uncover the story behind the murder of King Edward II? In the Great Hall, the guests were treated better than kings and queens of yesteryear and the room is absolutely breathtaking. Movie stars have filmed dramatic scenes in the same place. It transforms into a stunning place to party in the evening. Guests continue to say (8 months later) 'that was the best wedding we've ever been to!' If you’re wondering if hiring a Berkley Castle is worth the investment, a 1000 times yes!

Berkeley castle is a truly fantastic venue, run by incredible people who are passionate and great at what they do. Bring that all together and the wedding of your dreams can be realised. That’s the experience we had which we’re incredibly grateful for!

Berkeley castle was just everything a wedding could ever wish for. Pippa was absolutely incredible from start to finish, everything on the day was seamless. Every angle at the castle is so picturesque! We had our reception drinks by the lily pond looking up at the castle finishing with an 80’s band in the evening. My dream came true in June 22! (1 year later than planned!)

Whilst our wedding has not yet taken place (it is planned for Winter 2020), we could not be happier with how we have been supported by Pippa and her team at Berkeley Castle throughout the pandemic. We have had regular catch-ups by Zoom, have been given priority over a ‘reserve’ date in 2021 in case we do not wish to go ahead this year due to restrictions and could not have asked for more in terms of support. The Castle itself is such a beautiful venue and we cannot wait to get married there.

I delivered a wedding cake for the wedding of Brad and George on the 11th August. I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything looked and how gorgeous the venue is, inside and out. Everything was organised brilliantly and it was a pleasure to make such a smooth delivery, thank you.

Thank you SO SO much for everything you and your team did to make our day so special and so perfect! We are still getting gushing reviews from all our friends and family that attended the day and would not have run half as smoothly or been half as amazing without all your hard work, everything was honestly a dream come true!
