Berkeley Castle is an exclusive luxury weekend wedding venue on the edge of the Cotswolds with accommodation for upto 36 guests. Your wedding at Berkeley Castle will be unique and tailored to you and your fiancee, our wedding & events coordinator will guide and advise you every step of the way, from your very first meeting through to the big day itself. Whether you choose to host a civil ceremony in our grand Great Hall seating, or marry in a more intimate ceremony in the romantic Long Drawing Room for 70, walk down the aisle amongst the magical backdrop of Berkeley Castle. There is no set way to host a wedding at the Castle, only many enchanted spots to enjoy. Beautiful views await you while you are served drinks on the Gun Terrace and Lower Lawns, while the terraces boast wonderful rose boarders on the way to our tranquil Lily pond. Live music is welcomed so why not arrange for live music to set the scene for your drinks reception. Thinking of an autumn or winter wedding? The Drawing Rooms offer a wonderfully romantic spot with roaring fires to warm your guests. Guided Tours of the Castle are a fantastic way to break the ice between your guests or entertain them whilst you sneak off for some private photos, plus they are complimentary and can be arranged at one of the meetings with your wedding coordinator prior to the big day. Invite up to 130 of your closest family and friends to help celebrate your marriage in our Great Hall for your Wedding Breakfast. With a vaulted ceiling, striking tiled flooring and stunning stained glass windows, sit back and soak in the day while our caterers tempt you with all manner of delicious cuisine, with menu's carefully created by you and your fiancée alongside the expert team at Napier Catering. The entire crew at the castle were brilliant. The venue and reception rooms and surrounding grounds were all spectacular and was the perfect set up for our perfect day. To top it off, the included accommodation was brilliant - gorgeous and fit for purpose.The venue was stunning, the event organiser Jess was brilliant, so helpful and organised and ensured the day ran so smoothly. The entire crew at the castle were brilliant. The venue and reception rooms and surrounding grounds were all spectacular and was the perfect set up for our perfect day. To top it off, the included accommodation was brilliant - gorgeous and fit for purpose.

The roaring fires, grand piano, historic tour for our guests, the cottages all weekend were like a home away from home, a dedicated supplier list who know and love the castle, and the best food our guests have ever experienced at a wedding from Napier catering! The team at the castle care, they show kindness and professionalism in all the support they offer. And a Special shout out to Pippa who was the discreet puppeteer behind the success of our wedding! Her expertise, calm attitude and HUGE smile throughout our year of planning and during the day has been an absolute pleasure and one of our main reasons for booking in the first place. We had more than 120 guests from around the world coming to Berkeley Castle to celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Thank you so much to our fairytale godmother Pippa and the Berkley Castle team who ensured the bride and groom could focus on the celebration and having fun. We enjoyed every minute of the day, as all the details behind the scenes, communication with excellent vendors who regularly work at Berkeley and proactive planning were handled seamlessly. Guests took a tour before they moved to the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast. The castle is rich with history, everyone from King Henry VIII to Shakespeare. And how could you not uncover the story behind the murder of King Edward II? In the Great Hall, the guests were treated better than kings and queens of yesteryear and the room is absolutely breathtaking. Movie stars have filmed dramatic scenes in the same place. It transforms into a stunning place to party in the evening. Guests continue to say (8 months later) 'that was the best wedding we've ever been to!' Pippa was absolutely incredible from start to finish, everything on the day was seamless. Every angle at the castle is so picturesque! The Castle itself is such a beautiful venue and we cannot wait to get married there.
