We had the ceremony in the hall, followed by a blessing in the little chapel and afternoon tea and hog roast for the reception. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, the food was excellent and was done by the Avoncroft Edwardian Tea Room catering staff. All in all the day went very smoothly, and there was the minature railway running and a jousting event, so with all that and all the buildings, all of the guests said they really enjoyed the venue, there was plenty to do and it was quite unusual.We got married here a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely perfect. Me and my Husband loved that it was a bit 'different' from your standard Wedding Reception Venue, our guests were intrigued by the old buildings etc, and it gave guests something to do/look at whilst Photographs were getting taken - some great photos to be had here! The Events Staff were also friendly and very helpful.
