Every Athelhampton Wedding is unique, and carefully tailored to your personal requirements.
The Wedding Team will help you to plan your special day. From the first meeting, until we say good night on your wedding day, our team will be working hard to ensure your day is perfect.
Our wedding coordinators will assist you with the planning of your important day, advise you on local suppliers and caterers that you can use
Civil Wedding Ceremonies often take place in the Great Hall or outside in the Garden, though as Athelhampton is easy to reach many couples choose to marry in Church.
In the summer, reception drinks and canapés are usually served around the tranquil gardens, or in the winter or poor weather in the historic manor house, both make a superb backdrop of r your photographs. When considering the reception area for your wedding meal, speeches and evening entertainment there are two main options for you. Some couples who marry at Athelhampton use a marquee on the West Lawn, and others use our Coach House.
A marquee will provide you with much more space than our Coach House, giving you greater flexibility for your wedding day, however I would need to assist you in finding an outside caterer to provide food and service, I have a few that I can recommend! Alternatively, if you use our Coach House, depending on the number of guests, you may be able to choose between an outside caterer or our in-house catering team. Access for the marquee and set up is usually available 2 days before the wedding, the Coach House is available only on the wedding day itself.
