What is your most memorable wedding?
I recently painted at a HUGE Indian wedding which was a fantastic thing to be a part of. I also love to travel so being flown in and out of Belfast on the same day has been equally exciting :)
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Cute, classic, illustrative, fun, uncanny
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the joy I bring to guests, seeing their fanciers light up as they see their illustration.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Where possible, book well in advance. In my experience, wedding dates - especially in wedding season book up years in advance (most likely preaching to the choir)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love when people include their pets. A recent wedding I attended had their dog as best man.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to arrange a call if possible to chat openly and get to know the couple. I consider my job to me playing my part in making their day magical to I genuinely do everything in my power to make that happen. An open dialogue is great and I pride myself on fantastic communication every step of the way.
What is your No. 1 top tip for keeping a crowd entertained?
My job requires a lot of focus but I have been told watching me work is an incredible thing to witness (not my words haha). People enjoy watching the speed and skill I have gained over the years of painting illustrations.
Where is the most memorable place you have performed?
The wedding I attended in Belfast was at a venue I describe to everyone as "basically Hogwarts" - this has been my favourite.
Have you had any interesting surprises at a wedding?
Once, the head Bridesmaid could not attend as she had broken her leg last minute. Instead she created the most fantastic video message where she pulled out a guitar and began playing lots of their favourite songs along with her incredibly talented band.
What is your party trick?
My whole job is my party Trick! :)
