As a primary school teacher, I fell in love with the illustrations in the books I would read to my class of 6-year-olds every day. I LOVE Illustration! my dad inspired me to draw as he is a massive fan of Quentin Blake and draws watercolour characters himself. On leaving Teaching I took a job in the creative industry as a TV presenter on the Craft Channel "Create and Craft" Where I was inspired by the creatives who had followed their dreams!

The business was founded in 2007. From experience he realised that event agencies would promise a lot but deliver very little, so Funktion Events was born to change this.
