I've got an academic background and specialised in microscope optics. I decided to crawl out of the university basements and enjoy the outdoors, I do Astro-photography to keep my inner nerd happy. I really love shooting weddings I like the excitement and happiness of bringing everyone together and having a good time. I also like building things, the most interesting thing I have build is a 15ft Canadian canoe that is called the Jammy Dodger.
It is quite common that if you meet a stranger you will be feeling a bit uncomfortable posing in front of a big camera with lights- I totally get that! I will aim to meet with you and we can have a nice conversation and a quick photoshoot trial to give you an idea that I am not that scary! Moreover, after these few champagne glasses, you will not mind me at all! (P.S. I am socially awkward too)
Born near Berlin, I fell in love with photography early on. In 2019, I followed my heart to Scotland—where I discovered breathtaking scenery and my now husband. These days, we’re based in London with our little crew: our 3½-year-old son and 8-month-old daughter. In 2026, we’ll be heading back to Scotland to be closer to the people (and landscapes) we love most, and I can't wait!
"Wedding Photographer of the Year 2015" awarded by Scottish Wedding Awards. Providing creative, natural and relaxed photography for weddings and Portraits.
This is a lovely (genuine) comment I received from one of my wonderful couples. And while I'm not able to confirm whether I do actually have an invisibility cloak. I just wanted to share, above all, that I understand how you'll want to relax and enjoy your special day. So with this in mind I will always aim to be unobtrusive, amenable, calm, helpful and friendly. And take as many beautiful photos for you as I can of course.
